Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for downlink power allocation for NBIoT are disclosed. A method comprises receiving a first reference signal (NRS), a first data and a second data, wherein the first reference signal is associated with a first transmission power (E_NRS); the first data is in a symbol without the first reference signal, and the first data is associated with a second transmission power (E_A); and the second data is in a symbol in which the first reference signal is received; and the second data is associated with a third transmission power (E_B).
