  • Publication number: 20040224794
Abstract: Apparatus for a game to be played with a ball including a basket assembly adapted to be mounted to a ceiling or other elevated horizontal surface and defining at least two openings at a bottom thereof receivable of the ball. The basket assembly defines an interior space adjacent and above the openings such that the ball enters into the interior space of the basket assembly when passing in an upward direction through the openings. The interior space in the basket assembly adjacent to and above each opening constitutes a basket. Points are scored upon the passage of the ball through one of the openings into a basket. If the openings are connected to one another, then points can be scored when the ball passes into one basket and through the interior space of the basket assembly to the other basket.

  • Patent number: 5551612
Abstract: A stick-on flexible condom package which contains a condom sealed therein has a rear surface on which adhesive is applied. The adhesive is contacted with a skin portion of a user for adhering the condom package to a skin portion of the user to maintain the condom package readily available for use. The adhesive may be a layer applied to a rear surface of the condom package, or may be a double-sided (double coated) adhesive member applied to the rear surface of the condom package. The double-sided adhesive member may have a foam central layer which is resilient and flexible, to improve conformability of the condom package to surface contours of the body of a user.

  • Patent number: 5368055
Abstract: A windproof umbrella includes a post (14); a plurality of ribs (18) extending outwardly in a radial direction from the upper end of the post; a lower canopy (20) secured on the ribs (18); a plurality of vent holes (34) therethrough; and an upper canopy (36) positioned on the lower canopy (20) and covering all lower vent holes (34). The upper canopy (36) is smaller than the lower canopy (20). Elastic fastening straps (48) secure the upper canopy (36) to the free end portions of the ribs (18) for permitting the upper canopy to elastically lift up responsive to wind. The upper canopy (36) may include at least one vent hole (76) closer to the free ends of the ribs (18) than the lower vent holes (34). A plurality of slits (44) extending inwardly from the outer edge of the upper canopy (36) may be provided, each slit (44) being in line with one rib (18).

  • Patent number: 5076287
Abstract: An electrically conductive condom includes a generally cylindrical protective sheath having an open end for receiving a penis therein and an opposite closed end, the sheath being made from a thin, elastic, electrically conductive material which may be formed from a non-conductive elastic material having electrically conductive particles embedded therein. The electrically conductive material is preferably a thin elastomeric material with small conductive particles, such as carbon and/or silver particles, embedded therein. A reinforcing layer may be secured to the open end of the sheath. Optionally, a retaining strap may be secured to the reinforcing layer for retaining the sheath on a person, and quick release is provided for releasably securing the retaining strap about a person so as to releasably secure the sheath on the person.

  • Patent number: 4858805
Abstract: A coin roll opening device receives a wrapped roll of coins therein, and comprises at least one cutter having at least one roll engaging edge which is engageable against the roll of wrapped coins. The roll of wrapped coins and the cutter are moved relative to each other while the at least one cutting edge of the cutter is forced against the wrapper. In this manner, the coin wrapper is either sliced, scored or weakened, to permit easy opening of the roll of coins.

  • Patent number: 4645251
Abstract: A glove-like waste disposal system comprises a relatively thick, heat-insulating, flexible inner glove which is placed over the hand of a user. An outer glove is then placed over the inner glove, the outer glove being made of a thin, flexible, disposable material. In use, the waste material is picked up by the user whose hand is contained within the inner glove, the outer glove is peeled or stripped off to an inside-out pouch-forming configuration which contains the picked-up waste material therein, and the outer glove with the waste material therein is disposed. The inner glove is reusable, and serves to insulate the user's hand from the temperature and "feel" of the waste material. Absorbant layers may be attached to the inner (palm) or outer (back of hand) side of the outer flexible disposable glove to absorb moisture.
