Patent number: 5943238Abstract: A high-speed personalization machine has a portable object transfer device for transporting objects that incorporate an integrated circuit which contains at least one memory. The machine has a turning plate whose axis of rotation is inclined or parallel with respect to a transfer line and the plate is equipped with a number of connecting devices and an electronic card that is associated with each connecting device. Each electronic card is connected to a computerized management system and is arranged radially with respect to the turning plate so that the computerized personalization management system makes it possible to manage personalization of all of the cards.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 1997Date of Patent: August 24, 1999Assignee: Gilles Leroux, S.A.Inventors: Gerard Nioche, Simon Ormerod

Patent number: 5916622Abstract: The method of the invention is charecterized by preparing a layer of a foodstuff, without prior moistening, which foodstuff is in the form of a soluble powder based either on chicory alone or on a mixture containing at least one-third by weight of chicory, in raising the layer in ambient air to a temperature that is sufficient for surface melting the chicory powder, and then in cooling it. After the cooling operation, the resulting layer of agglomerating powder can be crushed, ground, and screened in order to obtain a product in granular form, preferably having grain size lying in the range 0.5 mm to 3 mm. The layer of powder may also be placed in a mold so as to obtain a product in the form of a compact slab of agglomerated powder whose outside shape matches that of the mold.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 1998Date of Patent: June 29, 1999Assignee: Leroux S.A.Inventor: Claude Ecochard

Patent number: 5772834Abstract: This invention relates to a plastic substrate production process, the production device for such a substrate, and the use of the process for the production of integrated circuit boards. The plastic substrate production process is characterized in that it comprises the following steps: unwinding and straightening of a continuous strip of plastic which is slightly larger in dimension than one of the dimensions of the board; printing, at at least one printing station, of a series of printing patterns and of printed markings; driving of the strip at a regulated printing speed; detection of the difference in speed; cutting by a press of the strip at positions defined by the printed markings; and regulation of the printing speed as a function of the difference between the printing speed and the driving speed.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 1997Date of Patent: June 30, 1998Assignees: Gilles Leroux, S.A., ATN S.A.Inventors: Serge Chiloff, Jean-Marc Bernard, Gerard Nioche

Patent number: 4073177Abstract: In each arm of a profiled part a notch is made. The notch has two convergent edges forming an angle substantially equal to the angle to be made with the profiled parts. The notch is designed of such a size that the bending can be easily made by applying a compression stress combined with a folding stress in order to reduce at a minimum the extension of lengthening during the folding without reaching the breaking limit of the material constituting the profiled part.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 1976Date of Patent: February 14, 1978Assignee: Etablissements Leroux S.A.Inventor: Serge A.
