    Abstract: A policeman's billy includes a tube having rotatably connected front and rear sections. The head of a twist-on flashlight is resiliently mounted in the upper section and its body extends into the lower section and is connected mechanically thereto so that relative twisting movement of the two sections changes the flashlight beam from a spot to flood and also turns the light off and on.
