(iii)optionally, granules comprising detergency builder.

Zeolite MAP has a beneficial effect on sodium percarbonate stability.

Abstract: An antifoam composition and laundry detergent formulation including it. The antifoam composition comprises a selected alkylaminosilicone, finely divided filler particles and a hydrocarbon carrier oil. Optional ingredients include oil/water surfactants and silicone oils. The alkylaminosilicone reduces the surface tension of the hydrocarbon oil and renders the formulation self-hydrophobing.

Abstract: A detergent composition contains(i) an anionic detergent active material;(ii) polyvinyl pyrrolidone; and(iii) a nonionic material or a mixture of nonionic materials, the nonionic material or its mixture having an HLB of not more than 10.5The polyvinyl pyrrolidone and the nonionic material are present to reduce redeposition of suspended soil onto fabrics washed with this composition.

Abstract: The invention relates to a fluoride toothpaste through the use of which there is produced a sustained and enhanced level of fluoride in the oral fluids. The toothpaste comprises a calcium-free abrasive cleaning agent, an inorganic ionic fluoride, 0.01 to 0.6% by weight of a flavoring agent and 0.002 to 0.1% by weight of sodium saccharinate or the equivalent weight of another sweetening agent.

Abstract: A hand operated pump dispenser adapted to be fitted to a fluid container to dispense the fluid as a spray has a discharge reservoir in the form of a bellows having an inlet closed by a one way valve allowing fluid into the bellows and a finger operated discharge valve, the bellows being charged and discharged by movement of the inlet relative to the housing, the charging movement of the bellows inlet also energizing an energy storage spring and being effected either by rotation or downward pressure on a first actuating member.

Abstract: A liquid component can be introduced into a detergent bar by injecting liquid within or immediately downstream of a multi-apertured plate positioned before the compression cone of an extruder. The method can be used to produce marbled bars with the aid of a colored liquid and is described in UK Pat. No. 1387567.When a double extruder is used together with a common expression cone the injected liquid becomes unevenly distributed within the detergent. Even distribution of the liquid as striations is achieved by use of a partition in the cone to ensure each detergent stream is subjected to separate compression during movement down the cone.

Abstract: A non-mushing high lathering synthetic toilet bar comprising, based on the total weight of the actives, 40-85% of C.sub.12 alkane sulfonate, 5-35% of a C.sub.12 natural or synthetic fatty acid, and 5-30% of an additive selected from the group consisting of hydroxyalkane sulfonates, alkylmethyl taurides, hydroxyalkylmethyl taurides, alkyl phosphates, mono-alkyl succinates and maleates, alkane disulfonates, acyl isethionates, alkyl sulfates and alkene sulfonates.
