    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to wire terminals and/or termination mechanisms arranged and configured for use with a wiring device. In particular, the present disclosure relates to wire terminals utilizing an actuator and a spring clamp. In some embodiments, the actuator is a rotary actuator. In use, in the second position, the actuator contacts an extended leg of the spring clamp to manipulate the spring clamp to facilitate insertion of an electrical wire therein. In the first position, the spring clamp secures the wire within the device and in contact with the electrical terminal of the wiring device. In some embodiments, the wiring device is selected from one of a plug and connector type device or a pin and sleeve type device.

    Abstract: Multi-pole and single-pole circuit breakers include a housing and a reset lockout mechanism disposed within the housing. The reset lockout mechanism disables electrical communication between line and load terminals of the circuit breaker if a predefined condition exists. Some circuit breakers include a single actuator, transition between ON and OFF states, and are capable of performing test functions. The test functions may involve testing AFCI and/or GFCI functions of the circuit breakers. The test functions may be performed when the circuit breaker transitions from an OFF state to an ON state. Some circuit breakers including a reset lockout mechanism may be powered only on its line side. Some circuit breakers provide an electrical indication when they are in the OFF state.

A trip operation of the circuit breaker includes a time delay based upon an amount of current on the conductive path detected by the sensor.

The controller executes the arc detection program to compute input data for the machine learning model based on the sensor measurements, decide between presence of an arc event or absence of an arc event based on the input data, and cause the switch to interrupt the conductive path when the decision indicates presence of an arc event.

    Abstract: An interlocked pay off reel comprises square or rectangular endplates that can be interlocked together to build a wall or skid of reels, and which allows the cable to be unspooled or paid out easily using a simple assembly. The pay off reel comprises two round flanges configured to hold respective ends of a cable spool. The flanges can be snapped to respective two square endplates, which elevate the spool and act as a stable base. The engagement mechanism between the flanges and the endplates permits the spool and flanges to rotate during pay off and applies frictional braking to prevent the spool from back spinning and freewheeling. Handles are built into the endplates so that the reel can be handled and moved easily. Interlock mechanisms on multiple sides and surfaces of the endplates permit the endplates to be locked to other endplates in all directions, allowing stacks of reels to be assembled.
