Abstract: The invention features a strain relief device for mounting wires and cable into a panel. The body of the device carrying the cable is flexible and attached to the panel by a rotational motion. The panel is locked between two flanges of the body by a number of locking ramps that bias one of the flanges into locking engagement with the panel.
Abstract: The present invention teaches a novel device that electrically connects conductors from a cable to the electrical contacts of a plug by means of a single fastener. The device comprises a shell, a plug assembly carried by the shell. The plug assembly is capable of mating engagement with other electrical contacts and has receiving means for receiving electrical conductors. A single fastener holds the terminals of the conductors in electrical connection with the electrical contacts. The single fastener includes a movable carriage on which is mounted a nut through which a screw is threaded with a head with a flange that is engaged with the wall of the plug assembly so that when the screw is rotated, the carriage moves so as to decrease or enlarge a chamber in which the conductor terminals and a portion of the electrical contacts are situated.

Abstract: A convenience electrical connector that is snap-mounted to a wall panel. The body portion forms a body planar surface that is adapted to grip the inner wall of the panel. A cover secures the inner side of the body member. A pair of opposed biasable arms connected to the cover extend through side recesses to a position where keeper planar walls at the ends of the arms are positioned to grip the outer wall of the panel after being biased inwardly along keeper ramps by opposed edges of the panel opening. The connector comprises two units, the body and the cover with the two connected arms. Mounting is accomplished by inserting the arms into recesses and pressing the two units together. A pair of snap-in flanges at the ends of the cover are biased outwardly by clamped lock members at the side walls of the body portion and then self-biased into a locking mode with the body portion.
