Patents Assigned to Lewis Galoob Toys, Inc.
  • Patent number: 6099380
Abstract: A transformable playset is reversibly configurable from a first environmental scene into a second environmental scene. A single actuator initiates reversible transformation via configuring means contained in the playset.

  • Patent number: 5433669
Abstract: A remotely controlled toy flying system in which the pitch of the toy flying device is controlled by the same drive shaft and drive shaft tube that is used to transmit power to the rotor of the toy flying device. A child can easily control the pitch of the toy flying device by rotating a knob. Rotation of the knob displaces the drive shaft, lifts the pitch link member and rotates the pitch shaft and toy flying device. Tilting the toy flying device causes the rotor to have a horizontal component of thrust causing the toy flying device to rotate in a fixed arc around the pivot member in the direction in which the knob is rotated by the child. Speed of the toy flying device rotor is controlled by the fore and aft motion of a lever.

  • Patent number: 5006090
Abstract: An ultra-miniature electrically powered vehicle having an electric motor which drives at least one of the vehicle's wheels, and which is energized through a pair of pick-up shoes contacting an electrified track. The brush assemblies of the motor are located substantially parallel and proximate to the vehicle's front axle and extend outwardly of the vehicle chasis into the volume defined by the front wheels, which are open on the inside face. The drive shaft of the motor lies above the plane defined by the axles of the vehicle. These features enable the vehicle to be significantly smaller than those of the prior art.

  • Patent number: 4648853
Abstract: A wheel assembly for toy vehicles that includes a spider mounted for rotation inside of a generally cylindrical hollow wheel. The spider carries lugs for extension and retraction through passages in the peripheral wall of the wheel. Also carried by the wheel for rotation relative to the wheel, and for rotational engagement with the spider, is a hub manually rotatable from outside of the wheel. The spider is biased for rotation in direction by one spring and the spider and hub are biased apart in an axial direction by another spring. Another spring biases the hub which has a flange with a number of notches against a sidewall of the wheel having a detent that fits into the notches to latch the hub into a lugs locked out, lugs locked in or neutral position.
