Abstract: Disclosed herein are a liquid crystal display panel and a method for fabricating the same wherein color reproducibility and superior image quality are achieved. The liquid crystal display panel comprises a color filter array substrate including a black matrix and a plurality of color filters arranged on a substrate, wherein each of the color filter includes a first color filter, a second color filter and a third color filter, each of them yielding a different color; and at least one selected from a fourth color filter yielding a mixed color of the first and second color filters, a fifth color filter yielding a mixed color of the second and third color filters, and a sixth color filter yielding a mixed color of the first and third color filters.
