Abstract: A door handle for opening a door of a refrigerator or a freezer compartment is fixable to the door in a manner pivotable by a pivot support and movable between an open position and a closed position as well having a restoration device for the automatic restoration of the handle from the open position into the closed position. A movement damper is provided for damping the restoration force of the handle from the open position into closed position and/or opening movement of the handle from the closed position into open position.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a refrigerator and/or freezer with one or more storage trays for accommodating refrigerated and/or frozen goods, wherein the appliance includes one or more extensions which are connected with the storage trays and by means of which the storage trays can be pulled out of the appliance and be pushed into the same, wherein the extensions include first and second housing parts and a pull-out rail, wherein the pull-out rail comprises first and second parts which are movable relative to each other, wherein the first housing part is directly or indirectly connected with the first part of the pull-out rail and the second housing part is directly or indirectly connected with the second part of the pull-out rail, and wherein the first housing part is directly or indirectly connected with the storage tray and the second housing part is directly or indirectly connected with the refrigerator and/or freezer.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a refrigerator and/or freezer with a door or flap for closing the appliance interior, with a hinge, by means of which the door or flap can be swivelled relative to the body of the appliance, wherein the hinge includes means for producing a closing force acting in closing direction of the door or flap, and with a damper which at least over a part of the closing movement of the door or flap applies a force directed against the closing movement of the door or flap, wherein the means for producing a closing force include an eccentric and means which exert a force that acts on the eccentric and is dependent on the opening angle of the door or flap.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the storage of deep-frozen goods in a freezer having a speed-controlled compressor. In accordance with the invention, the compressor is operated in long-term operation and the temperature is lowered in a low-temperature mode to a temperature which is clearly below ?18° C., and is kept substantially constant at this selected temperature with only low temperature fluctuations which are caused by a change in speed of the compressor.
