    Abstract: The present invention relates to a crane, in particular a deck crane, which comprises a boom which is erectable in its height about an axis of rotation, and an erecting trestle for deflecting a rope of a retracting mechanism in order to erect the boom. The invention is characterized in that the erecting trestle is erectable in its height, and the erecting trestle comprises a pull bar which includes a rotary joint in order to rotate a first portion of the pull bar with respect to a second portion of the pull bar.
