  • Patent number: 7150987
Abstract: An organic waste processing method and device makes a mass disposal and 24 hours continuous processing possible, and can largely cut down facility and processing costs. It uses a number of roughly cut-end inverted cone shaped processing tanks 3, 3A, 3B, and 3C aligned serially, a motor 17 installed on the bottom of each processing tank, a rotating shaft 19 that rotates by motor 17 drive set up passing through the top and bottom parts inside each processing tank, and stirring blades 21, attached on rotating shaft 19, that mix aerobic microorganism 1 and organic waste 2 to put in more than capacity amount of organic waste 2 into the upstream processing tank 3, have a part of organic waste 2 transport from outlet 14 at upper peripheral wall of processing tank 3 to inlet 9 at the top of processing tank 3A placed adjacently and downstream, by centrifugal force of stirring blades 21.

  • Patent number: 6702210
Abstract: A garbage disposing device 1 comprises a disposing tank 10 of substantially the inverted-conical shape for storing organic substance such as garbage and fermentation accelerator additives in which fermentation microorganism is seeded beforehand in a sealed condition, a rotating shaft 12 which passes vertically through the disposing tank 10 and is driven to rotate by a motor connected to the lower or upper end thereof, a plurality of cutter blades 14 which are fixed in a cantilevered fashion to the rotating shaft 12 at intervals in the vertical direction for grinding and mixing the fermentation accelerator additive and the organic substance, and a plurality of thermo sensors 16 for detecting the temperatures of the disposing tank at a plurality of portions positioned at intervals in the vertical direction.

  • Patent number: 4938765
Abstract: A vessel occluding loop 10 for occluding the flow of blood in a vessel 30 is disclosed. The loop 10 has an elongate body having an outer surface. The outer surface has a plurality of elongate engaging surfaces 11. The engaging surfaces 11 define a generally planar area of contact for contact with a blood vessel. The engaging surfaces have a first member 12, a second member 13, and third member 14 which form the preferably planar engaging surface. Depressed zones 18 and 19 are formed between the members, wherein the blood vessel may enter the depressed zones 18 and 19 when the loop is wrapped around the blood vessel 30, thereby increasing traction.
