Abstract: A system for treating a gastrointestinal tract may include a device configured to measure electrical activity at a plurality of locations within a gastrointestinal tract of a patient, a controller configured to compare the measured activity from the plurality of locations to a database of electrical activity corresponding to one or more gastric events, abnormalities, or dysrhythmias. The controller may be configured to determine one or more treatment locations based on the comparison, and cause the device to deliver therapy to the one or more treatment locations.
