Abstract: A system and method for providing a conduit to send information to emergency services from a wireless device. Systems and methods for registering an alarm button on a wireless device and sending to public and/or private emergency services providers information related to the wireless device including its location, information about a wireless device end user and/or subscriber associated with the wireless device, and information recorded by one or more wireless devices during and subsequent to the time the alarm button is activated.

Abstract: A system and method enabling a mobile device user in an emergency to alert multiple parties to secure assistance. Using an enabled mobile communication device, a user is able to select a pre-configured emergency alert by actuating a button or icon presented on the mobile communication device. Depending on the pre-configuration, upon actuation of the alert an email is sent to a designated recipient, a phone call is placed to a designated recipient, a pre-recorded voice mail is played, and/or a text message is sent to a designated recipient. Once the emergency has passed, the user can cancel the alert which notifies the recipients of the alert messages that everything is back to normal.
