Abstract: A bed frame having the functionality of providing varying degrees of elevation to moveable head-rest and back-support sections of the bed frame. Adjustable arms couple a pivotal section of the frame of slats with a front rail panel. The pivotal section of the frame of slats is positioned in the head-rest and back-support sections of the bed frame. Since the pivotal section of the frame of slats is configurable to be tilted, the adjustable arms may be used to tilt the pivotal section of the frame of slats and hence tilt the head-rest and back-support sections of the bed frame to varying degrees of elevation.
Abstract: A sofa bed with the functionality of having its arm rests and back rest being placed in multiple positions. The sofa bed includes two sections of the back rest that may be in one of three positions, such as being in the upright, partially laid down or laid down position. Further, the sofa bed includes arm rests that may be positioned in one of three positions, such as being in the resting position, about 20 degrees or about 45 degrees above the level of the seat deck. In this manner, the sofa bed has the functionality of having different positions used for various activities, such as sitting, sleeping or resting, to add to the user's comfort and enjoyment of the sofa bed.
Abstract: A sofa with a tray table mechanism. A tray table that is configured to fold out is attached to a seat deck of the sofa via a pair of hinges that is placed on a side of the seat deck. The tray table includes a panel for holding small items that is attached to the seat deck via the pair of hinges. The panel is further connected underneath to a u-shaped leg member via a pair of brackets, where the u-shaped leg member is used for supporting the panel. The tray table may be easily closed or opened. In this manner, an individual on the sofa may easily access an item on the tray table without the physical effort involved in obtaining the item by getting off the sofa.
Abstract: A method and sofa for converting the sofa into a bed. A seat back of a sofa bed is pulled and rolled out using roll out wheels concealed underneath the seat back as they glide across a track mechanism (also concealed underneath the seat back) until the roll out wheels lock into place. The back rest is pushed down until the back rest is level with the pulled-out seat bed thereby forming a regular-sized bed. In this manner, a sofa bed may be easily converted from the “sofa” position to the “bed” position while forming a regular-sized bed.
Abstract: A cradle conversion system having a cradle moveable between at least one sofa position and a bed position. The system comprised of a cradle having a first and second deck and a locking mechanism for selectively securing the decks in a set angular position to one another.
