Abstract: A downlight assembly that is selectively tiltable to direct a light source thereof at an angle relative to a housing of the downlight assembly. A threaded rod is rotatably coupled to the housing and extends vertically upwards therefrom. A fastener is threadedly coupled to the threaded rod and inserts into an arcuate slot of a plate pivotably coupled to the housing. The light source is mounted to the plate. Rotation of the threaded rod causes the fastener to move up and down the threaded rod and along the arcuate slot, in turn tilting the plate and the light source relative to the housing.

Abstract: An LED downlight assembly accommodates square and round trims and its components may be removed irrespective of the presence of mudded in round or square mud plates. The assembly also comprises a collar that can be fitted to ceiling of varying thicknesses.
