  • Patent number: 8113680
Abstract: A light fixture for lighting a wall, including a supporting base and at least one light emitting diode (LED) on the base emitting light in a cone having a central axis. A first reflector is curved between a first lip secured to the base adjacent the LED and a second lip spaced from the base, with the central axis of the cone intersecting the first reflector between the first and second lips. A second reflector defines a reflecting enclosure for and includes first and second generally flat surfaces on opposite sides of the LED and substantially symmetrical about a plane which includes the light cone central axis, and a third generally flat surface intersecting both of the first and second surfaces, whereby the first reflector is oriented to reflect light from both the LED and the second reflector in a beam having a selected shape.

  • Patent number: 7476008
Abstract: A recessed light fixture including a base plate mountable in an opening in a room ceiling or wall, with the base plate having a front surface substantially flat and aligned with the ceiling or wall surface when mounted thereon, and a light opening through the base plate wherein the edge of the light opening is a sharp edge with the back surface tapering away from the front surface around the light opening at an angle of less than 45 degrees. A curved dome is adjacent the base plate back surface and centered on the light opening. A ring is mounted to the base plate for selected rotation around the light opening, and a support track between the curved dome and the base plate is secured on its lower end to the ring and curved up and toward the light opening from its lower end. A socket support is mounted for adjustable movement on the support track, and a light socket is mounted to the socket support whereby a lamp in the socket emits light through the light opening.

  • Patent number: 7325948
Abstract: A recessed lighting fixture for a surface defined by a panel where the light is adapted for mounting behind the surface, including a can having an opening on one side for escaping light, a mount for securing a light source in the can, and a flange member having a central opening matching the can opening. The can is mountable behind the surface with a first mounting adapter about the can opening. A second mounting adapter is about the flange member opening. A plaster flange is secured to the flange member to define a surface with an inner boundary matching the can opening and an outer boundary generally matching the panel opening. The mounting adapters are adapted to secure the flange member to the can with the plaster flange planar surface within the panel opening and substantially coplanar with the panel surface.
