    Abstract: Quarternary ammonium salts compositions comprising a mixture of quaternary ammonium salts of general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are aliphatic radicals having from 10 to 22 carbon atoms and in which the aliphatic radicals are saturated aliphatic straight chains, unsaturated aliphatic chains and branched aliphatic chains, and wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are alkyl radicals having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and X is a quaternary anion.
