Patent number: 8266968Abstract: A crimping system, a control circuit for a crimping machine, and a method to be applied in them, in which: a work piece (15) is subjected to a first force effect by an actuator (5) that is controlled by the pressure of pressurized medium, wherein said force effect is proportional to said pressure and causes a desired deformation in the work piece (15); a follow-up measurement is taken, whose measurement result is proportional either to the dimension of the work piece (15) or said pressure; the work piece (15) is subjected to a second force effect but by applying a reduced pressure which is lower than the pressure that contributes to said deformation; and a verifying measurement is taken, whose measurement result is proportional to the dimension of the work piece (15), when said reduced pressure controls said actuator (5) and the work piece (15) is still in the crimping machine (1).Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2010Date of Patent: September 18, 2012Assignee: Lillbacka Powerco OyInventor: Seppo Pelkkala

Patent number: 7322435Abstract: To enable a rider to control in real time the type of ride he desires, a snowmobile is equipped with a suspension system that includes at least one fluid actuated device which can be adjusted in real time to control the relative distance between the body of the snowmobile onto which the rider sits and the frame, or the slide tracks about which the drive belt is mounted. By setting a constant predetermined desirable distance between the body and the slide tracks, or the frame, of the snowmobile, an optimal cushioned ride for the rider is obtained. The control of the fluid actuated device(s) may be effected at any time manually by the rider, or be effected by a feedback system. The snowmobile is also equipped with an ABS system for enhancing the traction of the drive belt on snow and therefore the control of the snowmobile by the rider.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 2001Date of Patent: January 29, 2008Assignee: Lillbacka Powerco OyInventors: Jorma Lillbacka, Pekka Lillbacka

Patent number: 6457443Abstract: An efficient and powerful engine is obtained by incorporating within an engine housing at least one cylinder which is rotatable along the inner circumferential surface of the housing. The cylinder is mounted to a crank case. A piston rod extends from the piston and is moveable longitudinally within the cylinder. The piston rod in turn is connected to a crankshaft. Thus, when the engine is powered, both the cylinder and the crankshaft can rotate, either in the same direction or in opposite directions. An exhaust opening is provided at a location substantially at the top portion of the cylinder. A corresponding exhaust port is provided in the housing, so that when the cylinder is rotated to the particular location along the housing, its exhaust opening comes into alignment with the exhaust port of the housing so that the exhaust gases resulting from the combustion in the cylinder are evacuated directly outside of the housing.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2001Date of Patent: October 1, 2002Assignee: Lillbacka Powerco OyInventor: Jorma Lillbacka
