Abstract: An electric circuit is provided for an inductive load including a first relay and a second relay for connecting the inductive load with a power supply. Both relays are connected to the inductive load so as to be activated when the voltage drop across the inductive load is to be interrupted and/or inverted.
Abstract: The invention relates to a modular electrical contact in which the electrical components are separated in a separate module, and in which the others of the modules of the contact are built without electrical components. An advantageous embodiment according to the invention comprises a mechanical motion transmission advantageous for the purpose, where one or more contacts (53) may be activated through pressure operation. The device comprises a guide rail (52) with an activating element (51) which comprises a pressure element (55) and an extension element (54) and arranged with fixing means with respect to the guide rail so that the pressure element is slidable therein for activation of one or more contacts (53) arranged at the end of the pressure element. This provides an extremely simple, sturdy and flat structure which is simple to manufacture and simple to mount. This operating device is particularly suitable for use in foot pedals.
Abstract: A linear actuator includes a housing, a spindle rotatable in both directions, a threaded nut driving a piston rod, and a motor capable of driving the spindle through a transmission, a disengagement unit being arranged in the transmission for interrupting the connection between the motor and the spindle in case of operational failure, such as overloading of the spindle, the disengagement unit comprising brake means adjustable with respect to the actuator housing to cooperate with coupling means for control of the rotational speed of the spindle when this is disengaged from the motor. The linear actuator provides an emergency function ensuring that the linear actuator and the carried load are not damaged by overloading of the actuator.
Abstract: An off mains switching system automatically switches off the mains current to current consuming units and reestablishes operational voltage thereto in response to switching on of such units. A control circuit actuates a voltage coupler in response to a unit becoming switched on and interrupts the voltage supply as a result of a detected termination of noticeable current consumption by such unit. The control circuit includes an operation capacitor with a relatively high capacity to which a charging voltage is supplied as long as the mains are connected. The operating capacitor operates as a voltage source for actuation of a control system in response to restarting of the unit. The control circuit further includes means for internally enabling a connection with the mains for maintaining a voltage supply for the control circuit when the charge on the capacitor drops below a critical level.
Abstract: A linear actuator includes a driven spindle (10) of metal having a nut (12) of polymeric material which further is connected to the expelling rod (14) of the actuator. The nut and expelling rod are joined to each other by intermeshing embossing mate for contemporary transfer of axial forces and torques. With a polymeric nut a number of advantages are obtained such as low friction, lifetime lubrication, low noise level, low production and maintenance costs. Furthermore, a possibility is provided for in a simple manner to provide the actuator with a safety nut connected to the main nut (12) with breakable entrainment means.
