Patents Assigned to Linde Technische Gase GmbH
  • Patent number: 6418732
Abstract: A process and device is provided for cooling extruded hollow sections, especially pipes, that are made of plastic. Liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide is directed into the interior of the plastic hollow section through an extruder head and is depressurized in at least one depressurization nozzle, whereby carbon dioxide in gaseous and solid form is produced. The carbon dioxide that is in gaseous form is directed to the inner wall of the hollow section, while carbon dioxide snow is brought into heat exchange with the inner wall of hollow section only to the extent that the latter is not damaged.

  • Patent number: 6419593
Abstract: The invention relates to a golf club with a striking surface for striking golf balls. The golf club has a coating applied by a thermal spray method at least in the area of the striking surface. The club coatings are preferably applied by a high-speed flame spray method or by a cold gas spray method. For coating golf clubs by hot spraying, in particular metals, metal alloys, oxides, (especially Al2O3 and/or TiO2), carbides, borides, plastics, or mixtures of the above substances can be used as the spray materials.

  • Patent number: 6106144
Abstract: A process for gravimetric production of test gas by re-weighing includes a series of sequential process steps, the first of which is weighing an evacuated gas container on a scale and then connecting a gas feed line to a control valve that is connected to the gas container by a controllable adjustment element connected to the scale. The controllable valve is automatically opened to fill a first test gas component, with the amount placed in the first test gas component being automatically monitored by weighing the gas container. After a selected quantity of test gas is provided, the controllable valve is closed. The connection between the gas feed line and controllable valve is accomplished by an adjustable fluid cylinder which automatically disconnects the gas feed line from the scale. The gas container is then reweighed and the process repeated for each subsequent test gas component placed in the gas container.
