Abstract: A method of obtaining a multipurpose integrated building system made of bamboo includes the following steps: creating a stack of layers of strips of bamboo, a shape and volume of the stack being dependent on the shape and the volume desired for the building system; adding an adhesive; then pressing the stack. Elementary or complex building systems obtained using the method according to the invention are also disclosed. A disclosed method of manufacturing a bamboo strip involves the following steps: producing a longitudinal slit in a bamboo cane; softening the bamboo cane; opening and flattening the softened bamboo cane.
