    Abstract: According to embodiments described in the specification, a wrap for a steel lintel positioned above a structural opening of a structure includes a plastic sheet member for placement on the steel lintel wherein the plastic sheet member is contoured to cover the steel lintel across a width of the structural opening; and wherein the plastic sheet member extends to cover a lower flange of the steel lintel providing a flashing at an interior angle of the steel lintel.
