  • Patent number: 10156032
Abstract: A method for processing a compensation layer, used in a vehicle interior, to increase a pressure resistance of the compensation layer. The method includes providing an unprocessed compensation layer. The compensation layer includes a first layer formed of fiber stitches, a second layer formed of fiber stitches, and a plurality of pile fiber bundles, each formed of pile fibers, connecting the first and second layers. The method further includes displacing the first and second layers substantially translatorily towards one another to thereby deform the pile fiber bundles into a deformed state, such that a distance between the first and second layers is reduced. The method also includes fixing the pile fiber bundles in the deformed state, such that the pressure resistance of the compensation layer in the deformed state is greater than the pressure resistance of the unprocessed compensation layer.

  • Patent number: 10044126
Abstract: A plug connector to connect two electrical assemblies is provided that establishes a releasable connection between the assemblies, such as cells of a battery. The plug connector includes two contact pins, each connected to an electrical assembly, and a parallel plug connector with a busbar that is firmly connected to two contact housings. The length and shape of the parallel plug connector are adapted to the spacing of the contact pins of adjacent electrical assemblies when in the installed position. In this installed position, the parallel plug can connect the electrical assemblies together. In this form, tolerances in the position of the electrical assemblies are compensated in the insertion direction. The contact housings have common insertion directions and the parallel plug is movable from the insertion direction onto the two contact pins simultaneously. In this form, the parallel plug can be inserted after installation of the electrical assemblies.

  • Patent number: 10044083
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a device for correcting the polarization twist of two linearly polarized signals using two polarization converters connected in series, wherein the second polarization converter can be rotated about an axis. In this way, the skew angle of an antenna can be compensated with respect to a satellite using a rotatable waveguide circuit. By converting the polarization from linear to circular, it is easier to rotate the now circularly polarized signals, using a second polarization converter, which reestablishes a linear polarization for the circularly polarized signals. Given the dual-channel signal outcoupling, the PCU may allow two orthogonal linear polarizations to be corrected at the same time using a simpler mechanical composition.
