Patent number: 11602023Abstract: A luminaire adapted to apply an auto-gradient effect across pixels has an interface coupled by a connection to a controller. The controller has electronic circuitry that receives a predetermined start light parameter for a start pixel of a luminaire and receives a predetermined end light parameter for an end pixel of the first luminaire, the predetermined end light parameter greater than the predetermined start light parameter. The controller circuitry then automatically interpolates a gradient effect for a middle light parameter of each of a plurality of middle pixels of the luminaire based on the start and end predetermined light parameters. The controller circuitry then outputs control signals having the start, end and middle light parameters to the start, end and middle light pixels, respectively, through the connection and to the interface.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 2022Date of Patent: March 7, 2023Assignee: LITEGEAR, INC.Inventors: Albert DeMayo, Alejandro Vazquez, Lee Ford Parker, Thomas Kong, Michael Wagner

Publication number: 20200154538Abstract: Systems and methods for compensating, controlling, mixing and saturating/desaturating colors produced by or emitted from LED artificial light sources through use of multiple channel, LED controllers to control the proportion of constituent colors each to the other, to control the intensity level of the total light output of the mixed, desaturated light during and after color mixing and/or saturation/desaturation by simultaneously increasing and decreasing power to the constituent color LEDs at the same rate, and once a desired color has been produced, changing the intensity/brightness and/or degree of saturation of the produced color without changing the hue of the produced color.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 13, 2018Publication date: May 14, 2020Applicant: LITEGEAR INC.Inventors: James David Smith, Lee Parker, Albert DeMayo, Alex Vazquez, Sean Goossen
