Abstract: A system for generating an interactive calendar guide to scheduled web-based events is described. The guide can be presented in any format, including a grid view and a first view, within various media, including at a website hosting the interactive guide and as a widget on a computer display. A user can interact with elements of the guide, select elements of the guide for more information, customize events presented in the guide, filter the results displayed in the guide, send a response to attend an event, go directly to an event from the guide, and modify the presentation format of the guide.
