  • Patent number: 9841861
Abstract: Provided is a touch panel having a display region and a non-display region surrounding the display-region. The touch panel comprises a transparent substrate, a sensing electrode layer, a conductive light-shielding layer, an insulated light-shielding layer, and a wiring layer. The conductive light-shielding layer is formed in the non-display region and between the sensing electrode layer and the wiring layer, and the whole non-display region is covered by the conductive light-shielding layer and the insulated light-shielding layer. With such all arrangement, the touch panel not only maintains the signal transmit function, but also ensures good optical performance in the display region near its interface. Accordingly, a touch screen comprising the touch panel can have good touch sensing functions and good optical performance at the same time.

  • Publication number: 20170060280
Abstract: A touch device with enhanced protection effect thereon includes a touch assembly, a protection layer and a transparent layer. After the protection layer is painted on the touch assembly, the transparent layer is formed on the protection layer. The protection layer is transparent and anti-ultraviolet and protects the touch device against the aging arising from exposure to ultraviolet light. The transparent layer has a high hardness. Accordingly, durability and production yield of the touch device can thus be enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20130093681
Abstract: A capacitive touch key panel has a substrate, at least one key unit, a reference electrode layer and a connection port. The at least one key unit is mounted on the substrate and has a key body and a sensing electrode formed under the key body and being unexposed. The reference electrode layer is formed on the substrate under the key body and separate from the sensing electrode. The connection port has at least one pad formed on the substrate and connecting to the sensing electrode. A user can operate the touch key panel of the invention by touching the key body. Because the sensing electrode is not exposed outside, the sensing electrode is hardly damaged by an external hard object.

  • Publication number: 20130056343
Abstract: A projected capacitive touch panel has multiple first electrode strings and multiple second electrode strings parallelly and alternately formed on a substrate. The first and the second electrode strings respectively have multiple first sensing electrodes and multiple second sensing electrodes connected in series, and have a first end and a second end. The first sensing electrodes of each first electrode string progressively decrease in area from the first end to the second end while the second sensing electrodes of each second electrode string progressively decrease oppositely. Accordingly, the difference of the RC values between each first electrode string and an adjacent second electrode string increases, and the accuracy of touch detection on edges of the touch panel is enhanced to facilitate the manufacture of oversized projected capacitive touch panels.
