Abstract: Various embodiments wirelessly detect micro gestures using multiple antenna of a gesture sensor device. At times, the gesture sensor device transmits multiple outgoing radio frequency (RF) signals, each outgoing RF signal transmitted via a respective antenna of the gesture sensor device. The outgoing RF signals are configured to help capture information that can be used to identify micro-gestures performed by a hand. The gesture sensor device captures incoming RF signals generated by the outgoing RF signals reflecting off of the hand, and then analyzes the incoming RF signals to identify the micro-gesture.

Abstract: A non-volatile storage system comprises a group of non-volatile memory cells, and one or more control circuits in communication with the group. The one or more control circuits are configured to perform a plurality of passes to revise a read reference signal based on comparisons of numbers of non-volatile memory cells in the group having a value for a physical property (e.g., threshold voltage or resistance) in adjacent regions. With each pass the adjacent regions are smaller. The one or more control circuits are configured to establish a final read reference signal based on a signal associated with one of the adjacent regions on a final pass of the plurality of passes. The one or more control circuits are configured to use the final read reference signal to distinguish between two adjacent data states stored in the group.

Abstract: A method for detecting a leak in a cladding tube in a nuclear reactor is described. The method is well-suited for use in a reactor having a plurality of cladding tubes housed in a plurality of linearly arranged channels for flowing coolant past the cladding tubes. The method includes monitoring the channels for the occurrence of an increase in radiation above a selected base line indicative of the presence of at least one fission product in the coolant in at least one of the plurality of channels, and monitoring the channels for the occurrence of time dependent changes in the strength of radiation in the coolant above the base line along the length of the at least one of the plurality of channels. The leak location is calculated by triangulating the radiation readings from a fixed linear array of detectors positioned adjacent to the channels to determine the location of the strongest radiation reading and the location along the length of the channel where the increase in radiation occurred.

Abstract: A utility knife has a disposable blade cartridge in its handle that has new and used blade compartments. Fresh blades are disposed in the new blade compartment and one end of each is advanced one at a time substantially out of the compartment into operative position by a carrier that is controlled by a push button assembly. When the active blade is to be replaced, it is moved by the carrier into the used blade compartment, and a new blade may then be withdrawn from the new blade compartment into the operative position. The cartridge may be reversed when the one end of all the blades in the new blade compartment are used, placing what was the used blade compartment at the front, and the unused end of each blade may be advanced into the operative position. When all are used, a new cartridge may replace the used cartridge.

Abstract: A mount, mount assembly, and speaker mount. That includes: a mount body with flange; a tower assembly including: a trigger, a dog; a bias member biasing the dog towards the mount body; a path guide guiding the dog along the tower assembly. The path guide allows/forces the dog to be oriented according to: a first orientation wherein the foot is pointed directly towards the mount body and substantially aligned with the tower assembly, and a second orientation wherein the foot is not so pointed and aligned such that the foot does interfere with travel of the mount through an aperture when the dog is in a second position that is spaced closer to the mount body than the first position. The dog changes between positions by operation of the bias member and not by a screw.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and articles of manufacture to improve image recognition searching are disclosed. In some embodiments, a first document image of a known object is used to generate one or more other document images of the same object by applying one or more techniques for synthetically generating images. The synthetically generated images correspond to different variations in conditions under which a potential query image might be captured. Extracted features from an initial image of a known object and features extracted from the one or more synthetically generated images are stored, along with their locations, as part of a common model of the known object. In other embodiments, image recognition search effectiveness is improved by transforming the location of features of multiple images of a same known object into a common coordinate system. This can enhance the accuracy of certain aspects of existing image search/recognition techniques including, for example, geometric verification.

Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium on which is stored machine readable instructions that may cause the processor to identify Internet protocol (IP) addresses and connection attributes associated with the IP addresses. The instructions may also cause the processor to train a machine learning model using the IP addresses as inputs to the machine learning model and connection contexts as outputs of the machine learning model. The machine learning model may learn a first weight matrix corresponding to the IP addresses and a second weight matrix corresponding to the connection contexts. In addition, the connection contexts may be concatenations of the connection attributes associated with a corresponding IP address.
