A doped region of the first conductivity type is in the semiconductor substrate at the bottom side. A first conductor is at a top side of the semiconductor region and a second conductor is at the bottom side. In some examples, one or more of doped regions at the bottom side is a patterned doped region.

Abstract: A security monitor monitors network communications at a loopback interface of a pod in the container system. The pod includes a service mesh proxy and an application container. The application container includes computer-readable instructions and is initiated via a container service and is isolated using operating system-level virtualization. The application container communicates with the service mesh proxy using the loopback interface. The security monitor extracts network address and port information from packet data in the network communications at the loopback interface. The security monitor determines one or more connection contexts of the network communications at the loopback interface, each connection context used to identify a network session of the application container with a remote application container.

Abstract: A self-closing lid that can be applied to a container and which provides a screen to prevent oversized debris from entering an inlet. The self-closing lid preferably includes a pair of flaps that rotate into an open position when material is being applied to the inlet and which rotate closed—preferably via a counterbalance, when material is no longer being applied to the inlet. The autonomous self-closing lid is preferably configured to not open in response to rainwater falling into the inlet and has shapes and/or features which direct the rainwater away from the inlet and outside of the lid.

Abstract: A data processing system includes: a processor; a memory storing executable instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor, alone or in combination with other processors, to implement a client application with a user interface. The client application is configured to: receive an image depicting an object; generate a fine-tuning input to an image-generating Artificial Intelligence (AI) model to associate image data of the object with an identifier; with the fine-tuning input, fine-tune the AI model; structure a prompt for the AI model using the identifier; and obtain from the AI model a new customized image that depicts the object while preserving an appearance of the object.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a film includes forming a blend containing a renewable content starch, a renewable content mineral, and polyethylene, operating a mass flow hopper to maintain a consistent mass flow rate of the blend to a feed throat of an extruder, and operating the extruder with a screw speed and melt temperature based on the amount by weight of the starch and mineral within the blend. The melt is passed through a screen pack with a mesh rating based on the amount by weight of the starch and mineral within the blend, is passed through a die, and is cooled into a film. The film is nipped to a gauge such that the film can be formed into a bag.

Abstract: A method for execution by a computing device includes obtaining a set of media element identigens for media elements of media to produce sets of media element identigens. The sets of media element identigens are possible interpretations of a media element. The method further includes generating a set of relationships between media elements. The relationships provide a list of one or more ways in which the media elements are related. The method further includes processing different permutations of the sets of media element identigens using the set of relationships to generate textual descriptions as a proxy for an entigen group. The entigen group represents a most likely interpretation of the media.

Abstract: An agricultural machine includes a trail frame, a wheel arm, a field wheel, a tongue, and a latch mechanism for releasably securing the trail frame to the tongue. The latch mechanism includes a catch mounted on the trail frame for pivoting about a fulcrum, a receiver on the tongue, the catch engageable with the receiver, a spring acting between the catch and trail frame on a first side of the fulcrum for biasing the catch into engagement with the receiver, and a rigid link acting between the wheel arm and the catch on a second side of the fulcrum. Pivoting motion of the wheel arm moving the field wheel away from the trail frame causes movement of the rigid link, and, once a pre-defined lost motion is overcome, continued movement of the rigid link causes pivoting of the catch about the fulcrum and disengagement of the catch from the receiver.

Abstract: Crossbow bowstring positioning systems are provided. In one aspect of the invention a crossbow bowstring positioning system has a crank housing supporting an axle and positioning a first connector at a front facing surface of the crank housing, a length of rope connected between two separated points on the axle; a bowstring connector joined to the length of rope and connectable to a bowstring of the crossbow, a mounting having a buffer tube mount mountable to a buffer tube of a crossbow; and a crank operable to rotate the axle to control an extent to which the rope is wound onto the axle and a position of the bowstring connector relative to the axle. The crank housing and mounting can be readily assembled in a small space and an efficient manner while providing paths through which a force experienced by the axle during use can be resisted.

Abstract: A method of producing a hemp fiber foam is disclosed. The method may include providing a mixture of foam reactants including an amount of hemp fiber that contains an amount of absorbed moisture. The method may further include providing an amount of water to the mixture based on the amount of absorbed moisture within the amount of hemp fiber. The method may further include reacting the mixture, pouring the mixture into a mold, and curing the mixture to form a hemp fiber foam wherein the amount of hemp fiber is incorporated into the hemp fiber foam.

The latching mechanism includes a spring pin, a post and grommet, or a clip in various embodiments. The first plate and second plate can include a plurality of symmetrically formed tabs extending outward from the plates with the latching mechanism formed on the tabs. The first plate and second plate may include a plurality of symmetrically formed latching mechanisms.

Abstract: A graphical user interface (GUI) system for facilitating aircraft approaching and landing includes a database for storing airfields information and associated one or more approach patterns. The system also includes a display screen with user input interface configured for selecting a pattern for an aircraft to approach and land on an airfield, displaying the selected pattern in an overhead graphical view of the airfield according to the related information stored in the database. The system further includes a processing unit in signal communication with the database, one or more aircraft position sensors, and the display screen. The processing unit is configured to receive aircraft location and movement information from one or more aircraft sensors, airfield information from the database, and user input from the user input interface to determine display content and format of the display content on the display screen.

The platform may be mounted above a wellbore to securely hold a tubing or casing segment, preventing the segment from rotating or slipping as torque is applied to an adjacent tubing or casing segment.
