Abstract: A tiltable vehicle is configured to transform between an autonomous mode and a rideable mode by pivoting the handlebars and steering column of the vehicle about a pitch axis. In the autonomous mode, the steering column is folded back toward the chassis and a tiltable chassis of the vehicle is prevented from tilting. In the rideable mode, the steering column is unfolded and the chassis is free to tilt. In some examples, a tiltable vehicle includes features beneficial for vehicle-sharing, such as parking devices or a basket. These features may be included on any suitable vehicle and are not limited to use on transforming vehicles.

Abstract: Approaches provide for controlling, managing, and/or otherwise interacting with mixed (e.g., virtual and/or augmented) reality content in response to input from a user, including voice input, device input, among other such inputs, in a mixed reality environment. For example, a mixed reality device, such as a headset or other such device can perform various operations in response to a voice command or other such input. In one such example, the device can receive a voice command and an application executing on the device or otherwise in communication with the device can analyze audio input data of the voice command to control the view of content in the environment, as may include controlling a user's “position” in the environment. The position can include, for example, a specific location in time, space, etc., as well as directionality and field of view of the user in the environment.

Abstract: An inverse diode die has a high reverse breakdown voltage, a short reverse recovery time Trr, and is rugged in terms of reverse breakdown voltage stability over long term use in hard commutation applications. The die has an unusually lightly doped bottomside P type anode region and also has an N? type drift region above it. Both regions are of bulk wafer material. An N+ type contact region extends down into the drift region. A topside metal electrode is on the contact region. A P type silicon peripheral sidewall region laterally rings around the drift region. A topside passivation layer rings around the topside electrode. A bottomside metal electrode is on the bottom of the die. The die has a deep layer of hydrogen ions that extends through the N? drift region. The die also has a shallow layer of ions. Both ion layers are implanted from the bottomside.

  • Patent number: 10771956
Abstract: A subscriber identification module (SIM) level task scheduler is described. A dual SIM device SIM radio controller determines quality of service (QoS) levels for each service running on a dual SIM device. A first SIM and radio are connected to one of an unlicensed spectrum network or a licensed spectrum network, which are operated by a same service provider. A second SIM and radio scan for available network connections operated by the service provider. The dual SIM device measures QoS levels and the controller checks them against QoS requirements. The controller instructs the second radio to connect to a selected network from the available networks when the measured QoS levels are at least steadily degrading. The dual SIM device shares and negotiates the first radio settings with the selected network. The controller instructs a processor to switch from the first to the second radio when the selected network is ready.

  • Patent number: 10771935
Abstract: The disclosure provides examples of systems and methods for determining locations of a number of radio frequency-enabled devices such as mobile devices and radio frequency-equipped beacons/luminaires within an indoor location. The radio frequency-enabled devices may be part of an indoor positioning system and/or content delivery system. The examples describe obtaining an angle of arrival (AoA) of the signals received by the respective radio frequency-enabled devices. The AOA data is used to identify the relative positions of the radio frequency-enabled devices as the mobile device moves about the indoor location. Upon comparing AOA measurements of the collected data related to a map of the location, the system may generate a data structure that may be presented graphically as a map of positions of the devices at the location. The described examples may enable a rapid commissioning process with respect to the radio frequency-enabled devices in a network.

  • Patent number: 10770459
Abstract: A silicon oxide liner, a silicon nitride liner, and a planarization silicon oxide layer may be sequentially formed over p-type and n-type field effect transistors. A patterned dielectric material layer covers an entirety of the n-type field effect transistor and does not cover at least a fraction of each area of p-doped active regions. An anisotropic etch process is performed to form p-type active region via cavities extending to a respective top surface of the p-doped active regions and n-type active region via cavities having a respective bottom surface at, or within, one of the silicon nitride liner and the silicon oxide liner. Boron-doped epitaxial pillar structures may be formed on top surfaces of the p-type active regions employing a selective epitaxy process. The n-type active region via cavities are extended to top surfaces of the n-doped active regions. Contact via structures are formed in the via cavities.
