Abstract: A spinner assembly for an instrument having valves and/or slides. A clamp sub-assembly attaches to the instrument while a hand strap sub-assembly encircles a player's conjoined hand. A bearing rotatably connects the clamp sub-assembly to the hand strap sub-assembly about a drive axis (D) that is offset from the natural balance axis of the instrument (X). The clamp sub-assembly includes a mounting plate fashioned with three side-by-side cradles that nest against the horn valves. A lashing holds the cradles in position. The hand strap sub-assembly includes a generally rigid palm plate that fits in the player's palm. The palm plate has a hypothenar end, a web end and a distal edge. The distal edge has a ring finger relief adjacent the hypothenar end. A driver boss is affixed to the backside of the palm plate adjacent the web end. A flexible belt secures the player's hand to the palm plate.

Abstract: A system for predictive analysis of very large data sets using a distributed computational graph has been developed. Data receipt software receives streaming data from one or more sources. In a batch data pathway, data formalization software formats input data for storage. A batch event analysis server inspects stored data for trends, situations, or knowledge. Aggregated data is passed to message handler software. System sanity software receives status information from message handler and optimizes system performance. In the streaming pathway, transformation pipeline software manipulates the data stream, provides results back to the system, receives directives from the system sanity and retrain software.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for performing instance segmentation by detecting and segmenting individual objects in an image. In one aspect, a method comprises: processing an image to generate data identifying a region of the image that depicts a particular object; obtaining data defining a plurality of example object segmentations; generating a respective weight value for each of the example object segmentations; for each of a plurality of pixels in the region of the image, determining a score characterizing a likelihood that the pixel is included in the particular object depicted in the region of the image using: (i) the example object segmentations, and (ii) the weight values for the example object segmentations; and generating a segmentation of the particular object depicted in the region of the image using the scores for the pixels in the region of the image.

Abstract: A temperature compensation flow-limiting device are provided. The temperature compensation flow-limiting device is disposed in the infusion tube of the elastomeric infusion system to improve instability, caused by changes to temperature, of the flow velocity of the fluid inside the infusion tube to keep the flow velocity of the fluid stable. The temperature compensation flow-limiting device includes an inner layer and an outer layer; the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of the inner layer is greater than that of the outer layer. When the temperature of the fluid inside the infusion tube increases, the inner layer expands and the internal diameter decreases as it is limited by the outer layer.
Abstract: The present application provides methods of treating overactive bladder and methods of training or retraining bladder, prolonging symptom relief, improving the quality of life and/or neuronal remodeling in an individual having overactive bladder, by administering an effective amount of trospium locally to the bladder of the individual for at least about 24 hours.
