Abstract: An ergonomic handle and utensil holder accessory has tubular main body with a wrist rest extending from the distal end. A grip extends upward from the main body and is threadingly engaged with the main body. The handle of a pot, pan, utensil, or other object is inserted into the main body and the grip is screwed in to tightened the holder to the target object. The user grabs the grip by hand such that the user's wrist and forearm rests on the wrist rest. The holder enhances the user's grip on the target object and provides enhanced ergonomics and lifting power.

Abstract: A method of treating a fluid comprises introducing a feed fluid stream comprising multiple materials to first side of a semi-permeable membrane. A draw fluid stream having a higher temperature than the feed fluid stream is introduced to second, opposing side of the semi-permeable membrane to form a thermal gradient across the semi-permeable membrane. One or more of the multiple materials of the feed fluid stream is drawn through the semi-permeable membrane and into the draw fluid stream via thermal gradient osmosis. A fluid treatment system and a thermal gradient osmosis apparatus are also described.

Abstract: A fiber optic cassette includes a body defining a front and an opposite rear. A cable entry location, such as a multi-fiber connector, is defined on the body for a cable to enter the cassette, wherein a plurality of optical fibers from the cable extend into the cassette and form terminations at one or more single or multi-fiber connectors adjacent the front of the body. A flexible substrate is positioned between the cable entry location and the connectors adjacent the front of the body, the flexible substrate rigidly supporting the plurality of optical fibers. Each of the connectors adjacent the front of the body includes a ferrule. Dark fibers can be provided if not all fiber locations are used in the multi-fiber connectors. Multiple flexible substrates can be used with one or more multi-fiber connectors.

The present disclosure also provides an imaging apparatus comprising the lens system described above.
Abstract: Disclosed is a low band dipole that has four dipole arms in a cross configuration, and a simplified cloaking structure to substantially prevent interference with radiated RF energy from nearby high band dipoles. Further disclosed is a feed network and dipole stem balun configuration that power divides and combines two distinct RF signals, without the use of a hybrid coupler, so that the four dipole arms collectively radiate the two RF signals respectively at a +45 degree and ?45 degree polarization orientation relative to the orientation of the dipole arms.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for implementing a unitary quantum gate on one or more qubits. In one aspect, a method includes the actions designing a control pulse for the unitary quantum gate, comprising: defining a universal quantum control cost function, wherein the control cost function comprises a qubit leakage penalty term representing i) coherent qubit leakage, and ii) incoherent qubit leakage across all frequency components during a time dependent Hamiltonian evolution that realizes the unitary quantum gate; adjusting parameters of the time dependent Hamiltonian evolution to vary a control cost according to the control cost function such that leakage errors are reduced; generating the control pulse using the adjusted parameters; and applying the control pulse to the one or more qubits to implement the unitary quantum gate.
Abstract: A method for verifying an alignment of one or more devices of a vehicle in a manufacturing environment includes selecting an alignment verification routine to be performed by an autonomous alignment verification mobile robot (AAVMR) and autonomously positioning the AAVMR based on a position of the vehicle and one or more displacements associated with the alignment verification routine. The method includes performing, using the AAVMR, the alignment verification routine to generate one or more alignment characteristics associated with the one or more devices and broadcasting a notification based on the one or more alignment characteristics.

Abstract: In-line material analyzers may include feed guides for guiding a material through the analyzer. An actuator may be positioned and configured to contact the material proximate to the feed guides. The state of the actuator, and the force applied by the actuator to the material, may be detected. The state of the actuator, the force applied by the actuator, or both may be utilized to determine one or more properties of the material. Such a determination may be made without removing the material from a production or other manufacturing line, such as, for example, while the material remains contiguous with a source from which the material is extruded.
