Patent number: 10623146Abstract: A method is provided in a receiving node for handling status information of data units transmitted from a sending node to the receiving node over a radio link. The receiving node establishes that a number of data units that has been transmitted by the sending node are missing. The receiving node sends a reduced status message to the sending node over the radio link, which message is reduced such that it comprises the negative acknowledgement for a first part of missing data units and omits negative acknowledgements for the rest of the missing data units. The omitted negative acknowledgement for the rest of the missing data units will not erroneously be interpreted as correctly received data units by the sending node.Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 2019Date of Patent: April 14, 2020Assignee: Optis Cellular Technology, LLCInventors: Michael Meyer, Johan Torsner, Henning Wiemann

Patent number: 10622845Abstract: System and methods are described herein for providing wireless power to a target device, such as a laptop computer, a mobile phone, a vehicle, robot, or an unmanned aerial vehicle or system (UAV) or (UAS). A tunable multi-element transmitter may transmit electromagnetic radiation (EMR) to the target device using any of a wide variety of frequency bands. A location determination subsystem and/or range determination subsystem may determine a relative location, orientation, and/or rotation of the target device. For a target device within a distance range for which a smallest achievable waist of the Gaussian beam of the EMR at an operational frequency is smaller than the multi-element EMR receiver of the target device, a non-Gaussian beamform may be determined to increase efficiency, decrease overheating, reduce spillover, increase total power output of rectenna receivers on the target device, or achieve another target power delivery goal.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2017Date of Patent: April 14, 2020Assignee: Searete LLCInventors: Daniel Arnitz, Jeffrey A. Patent number: 10623547Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for determining a communication mode for recording a media message on a communication device is provided. An adaptive recording application detects activation of an interface element, for example, a push or a touch of a button on the communication device and determines duration of the activation of the interface element. The adaptive recording application, in response to the detection of the activation of the interface element, selects a communication mode, for example, a push to talk communication mode, a tap to start communication mode, etc., based on a comparison of the duration of the activation of the interface element with one or more configurable timing parameters and/or a determination of a presence or an absence of a media signal during and/or after the activation of the interface element. The adaptive recording application initiates recording of the media message in the selected communication mode.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2019Date of Patent: April 14, 2020Assignee: SRK Technology LLCInventor: Kieraj Singh Mumick

Patent number: 10617240Abstract: Duvet inserts are provided with at least two chamfered or beveled corners to prevent overhanging of the corners. Additional drag caused by the overhanging corners and frequent handling of duvet inserts by the corners causes migration of fillers contained therein and this is mitigated by the chamfered corners. Again, sectional barriers, preferably by stitching zigzag, waves or triangle wave stitches along the periphery of duvet inserts are capable of minimizing migration of fillers. Furthermore, quilted or line stitches on at least two corners can also be provided to contain the fillers. Duvet inserts of the present disclosure are durable and chamfered corners provide a neat and tailored look thereby enhancing bed presentation and also avert accidents such as tripping over the overhanging portion.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2015Date of Patent: April 14, 2020Assignee: Sysco Guest Supply, LLCInventors: Khushboo Mittal, Mohan Kandhasamy
