Abstract: A computer system for assessing sound to analyze a user's sleep includes a processor configured to perform operations including: (i) storing sample sound data associated with a plurality of sample sleep events, the sample sound data including a plurality of sample characteristics each respectively associated with at least one sample sleep event of the plurality of sample sleep events; (ii) receiving, from a client device, subject sound data collected during a sleep interval; (iii) analyzing, using a machine learning algorithm, the subject sound data collected during the sleep interval; (iv) identifying, based upon the analyzing, a subject characteristic associated with the subject sound data; (v) comparing the subject characteristic with the plurality of sample characteristics; and (vi) determining, based upon the comparing, whether the subject characteristic substantially matches at least one sample characteristic to identify one or more subject sleep events occurring during the sleep interval.
Abstract: A system and method for visually monitoring an outrigger includes a camera assembly configured to monitor an outrigger and a control system operably and communicably connected to the camera assembly. The control system executes instructions to determine a presence, length, and/or position of the outrigger based by an image captured by the camera assembly. The outrigger may include a target to be detected by the camera assembly for monitoring of the outrigger. The target may be the outrigger itself, detected by the control system using edge detection, or a marker disposed on the outrigger. The system may be implemented with a crane having a carrier unit and a superstructure. The system may include a plurality of camera assemblies and a plurality of outriggers.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices provide for a bone centering drill guide. The bone centering drill guide may include a clamping mechanism which clamps to a bone in a pivotable fashion. The proximal end of the clamping mechanism includes a handle portion having a first arm and a second arm which is configured to allow a user to grip the device and exert force which urges the first and second arms toward each other. The distal end includes a clamping portion having first and second arms which are urged into a closed configuration when closing force is provided to the handle portion. The proximal end may further include a locking mechanism which locks the clamping device in a clamped configuration. The bone centering drill guide may further include a guide slot disposed on the distal end above the clamping arms, the slot configured to remain centered between the first and second clamping arms.

Abstract: A fiber optic telecommunications device includes a fiber optic cassette comprising a body defining a front and an opposite rear and an enclosed interior. A fiber optic signal entry location is defined on the body for a fiber optic signal to enter the interior via a fiber optic cable. An adapter block defines a plurality of fiber optic adapters and is removably mounted to the body with a snap-fit interlock, each adapter including a front outer end, a rear inner end, and internal structures allowing mating of optical connectors mounted to the front and rear ends, respectively. A removable spacer is mounted to the body, the spacer configured to expand the size of the enclosed interior of the cassette and a removable cover is mounted to the spacer. Connectorized optical fibers extend from the fiber optic signal entry location to the rear inner ends of at least some of the fiber optic adapters for relaying the fiber optic signal to fiber optic connectors to be coupled to the front outer ends of the adapters.
Abstract: A cooling system, for example, for rack mounted electronic devices (e.g., servers, processors, memory, networking devices or otherwise) in a data center. In various disclosed implementations, the cooling system may be or include a liquid cold plate assembly that is part of or integrated with a server tray package. In some implementations, the liquid cold plate assembly includes a base portion and a top portion that, in combination, form a cooling liquid flow path through which a cooling liquid is circulated and a thermal interface between one or more heat generating devices and the cooling liquid.
Abstract: A system for wirelessly transmitting data provides an input for receiving an input data stream. First modulation circuitry applies quantum level overlay (QLO) modulation to the input data stream to generate a QLO modulated data stream. Second modulation circuitry applies quantum level orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) modulation to the QLO modulated data stream to create an OTFS/QLO modulated data stream. A transmitter transmits the OTFS/QLO modulated data stream.
Abstract: A mobile device holder for a rear-view mirror of a vehicle may include a mirror housing and a mobile device bracket arranged at least partially therein in a stored position, and a deployment mechanism connected to the bracket and including a torsion spring configured to rotatedly hinge the bracket from the stored position to a deployed position extending out of the housing in response to actuation of the torsion spring.

Abstract: An apparatus obtains application state information for another device and displays a login screen on a display that provides information for at least one application running on the other device. The information displayed may be an icon corresponding to an application running on the other device. The application state information may include an application identifier, a content identifier and a pointer to a location at which a given content is accessed by the application. An apparatus includes a display, application state monitor logic, operative to obtain application state information for another device, and login screen configuration logic, operatively coupled to the display. The login screen configuration logic is operative to configure a login screen on the display to provide information for at least one application running on the other device, based on the application state information for the other device obtained by the application state monitor logic.

Abstract: Non-limiting examples of the present disclosure describe low latency pre-web classification of query data. In examples, processing is performed where query data may be analyzed in a low latency manner that includes providing a vertical intent classification and entity identification for query data before a web ranking service processes the query data. Query data may be received. A vertical intent classification index may be searched using the query data. In examples, the vertical intent classification index may comprise a set of files that can be used to determine one or more candidate entity identifiers for the query data. The one or more entity identifiers may be ranked. The query data, a vertical intent classification for the vertical intent classification index and the one or more ranked candidate entity identifiers may be transmitted for processing associated with a web ranking service. Other examples are also described.
