  • Patent number: 11968475
Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to computing devices, head-mounted display devices and methods for remote collaborations. In one example a computing device receives a first spatial mapping of a first environment and a second spatial mapping of a second environment. The computing device determines that a first volumetric space in the first environment and a second volumetric space in the second environment each satisfy at least one collaboration criterion. Based on this determination, an indication of the first volumetric space is displayed by a first display device in the first environment, and an indication of the second volumetric space is displayed by a second display device in the second environment.

  • Patent number: 11966864
Abstract: Aspects described herein may provide determination of a pedestrian route for a user to reach a seating area inside of a venue. Financial transaction data of the user may be reviewed to determine the user purchased one or more tickets to an event at the venue. Information regarding the event or the venue may be determined including seating charts for the venue and whether the tickets are for assigned or unassigned seats. Crowd densities inside and outside of the venue may be determined. The pedestrian route may be determined based on the crowd densities, number of tickets, and type of seating. The route may be updated as conditions change including any change to the crowd densities or change to seating availability. The route may increase a likelihood that the user reaches the seating area prior to a start of the event, and in a less stressful manner.

  • Patent number: 11968381
Abstract: Techniques and apparatuses are described for video frame codec architectures. A frame decompressor decompresses compressed frames to produce decompressed frames. A frame decompressor controller arbitrates shared access to the frame decompressor. Multiple cores of an SoC request to receive a decompressed frame from the frame decompressor via the frame decompressor controller. The frame decompressor controller can implement a request queue and can order the servicing of requests based on priority of the requests or requesting cores. The frame decompressor controller can also establish a time-sharing protocol for access by the multiple cores. In some implementations, a video decoder is logically integrated with the frame decompressor and stores portions of a decompressed frame in a video buffer, and a display controller retrieves the portions for display using a synchronization mechanism. In analogous manners, a frame compressor controller can arbitrate shared access to a frame compressor for the multiple cores.

  • Patent number: 11966380
Abstract: A secure storage module of a client device interacts with a set of secure storage servers to securely store data items of the client on the servers, such that no individual server has the data in readable (non-obfuscated) form. Additionally, the client secure storage module and the servers interact to allow the client device to read a given portion of the original data items from the servers, such that none of the servers can determine which portion of the original data is being requested. Similarly, the interactions of the client secure storage module and the servers allows the client device to update a given portion of the original data on the servers to a new value, such that none of the servers can determine which portion is being updated and that none of the servers can determine either the prior value or new value or the difference between the new value and the prior value.

  • Patent number: 11964235
Abstract: Methods and systems for enhancing water treatment and desalination are provided. An example method includes generating structurally altered gas molecules from water, where the structurally altered gas molecules have a higher probability of attraction of electrons into areas adjunct to the structurally altered gas molecules than molecules of the water. The method further includes mixing the structurally altered gas molecules with raw water to modify properties of the raw water, thereby increasing raw water filtering efficiency of a water filtering system.

  • Patent number: 11965965
Abstract: The technology relates to localizing a vehicle. As one approach, a first LIDAR sensor scan data of an environment of the vehicle and localization data for the vehicle at a location where the first LIDAR sensor scan was captured are stored. Thereafter, the computing device is suspended and subsequently unsuspended. After the computing device is unsuspended, second LIDAR sensor scan data of the vehicle's environment is received. The first LIDAR sensor scan data is compared to the second LIDAR sensor scan data to determine whether the vehicle has moved. Based on the determination of whether the vehicle has moved from the location, the stored localization data is used to localize the vehicle. Other approaches are also described.
