The memory stores instructions executable by the processor to receive from the sensor subsystem sensor data indicating locations along the body of a plurality of contact points between a user hand and the body, based at least in part on the sensor data, determine a touch profile of the user hand applied to the body, based at least in part on the touch profile of the user hand, determine a selected haptic output to be applied to the body, and cause a drive signal to be transmitted to the haptic feedback mechanism to apply the selected haptic output to the body.

    Abstract: A system for imaging using entangled photons includes an optical source that generates a set of four entangled photons correlated in time, such that detection of any one pair of the four entangled photons indicates that all four of the entangled photons are entangled. The optical source couples a first photon to a first path, a second photon to a second path, a third photon to a third path, and a fourth photon to a fourth path. A first detector detects the first photon of the set of four entangled photons. An object positioned at an object plane produces a modulation of the first photon. A spatial sampler detects the second photon. A second detector detects the third photon. A third detector detects the fourth photon. A first coincidence detector determines a coincidence between a detection of the first photon of the set of four entangled photons and a detection of the third photon of the set of four entangled photons.

An effector controller may selective perform an additional built-in test (ABIT) on boot based on instructions from a flight controller. The flight controller may use flags to indicate the necessity of an ABIT on boot. The effector controller may not perform an ABIT during flight. A backup controller may be used to send standard commands to an effector controller but may not sent an ABIT command.

The sensor comprises a photosensitive circuit, a wireless transmitter for transmitting the wireless signals, a controller coupled to the photosensitive circuit and the wireless transmitter, and a battery for powering the photosensitive circuit, the wireless transmitter, and the controller. The photosensitive circuit is operable to generate a light intensity control signal in response to the total light intensity in the space. The controller transmits the wireless signals in response to the light intensity control signal using the variable transmission rate that is dependent upon the total light intensity in the space. The variable transmission rate may be dependent upon an amount of change of the total light intensity in the space.

    Abstract: A method for charging a battery pack via an offboard energy source uses an interleaved boost converter and closed-loop control. The energy source outputs a charging current via a DC charge port during a direct current fast-charging (DCFC) process. A controller detects a voltage disparity condition in which a voltage capability of the battery pack exceeds a voltage capability of the energy source. In response to this condition, a rise of the charging current over time is recorded as a current trajectory and an open-loop equivalent time constant is extracted from the current trajectory. A time constant of the PI control block is set substantially equal to the equivalent time constant. The PIM is controlled in closed-loop using proportional-integral control. The charging current is controlled in a continuous current conduction mode during the DCFC process.

For example, synchronization of the audio and video streams may drift, media rental purchases may time out, or playback may throttle to low quality. Such failures can be caused by device or network issues. The present disclosure describes a CPE remediation system that operates to identify a failure associated with playing media streamed by the CPE device. The CPE remediation system may further determine a solution to remediate an observed CPE device-related failure. In some examples, the CPE remediation process may further provide or perform one or more actions included in the determined solution. In some examples, the solution may include a warm or a cold reboot.
