Abstract: Systems and methods for installing a coiled tubing pumping system in a well permit the use of a standard wellhead. A method for installing the coiled tubing pumping system includes the steps of connecting a continuous length of coiled tubing to the coiled tubing pumping system, lowering the coiled tubing pumping system and coiled tubing into the production tubing, and temporarily supporting the weight of the coiled tubing pumping system with an installation kit. The method continues with the steps of cutting the continuous length of coiled tubing to form a coiled tubing segment attached to the coiled tubing pumping system, attaching a deployment assembly to an upper end of the coiled tubing segment connected to the coiled tubing pumping system, and lowering the deployment assembly, the coiled tubing segment and the coiled tubing pumping system into the well until the deployment assembly lands on the seating element.

The first door is movable to expose a first electrical connector disposed within the first body. The electrical connector system includes a second connector including a second body and a second door. The second door is movable to expose a second electrical connector disposed within the second body. The electrical connector system includes an actuator coupled to the second electrical connector. The actuator is configured to move the second electrical connector to couple the second electrical connector to the first electrical connector.

Abstract: A backpack includes a base, a harness, a hinge mechanism, a first cartridge and a second cartridge. The harness is coupled to the base and is configured to be removably worn by a person. The hinge mechanism is coupled to the base. The first cartridge is configured to removably store at least one piece of sporting equipment, such as a golf club, and is rotatably coupled to the base by the hinge mechanism. The second cartridge is configured to removably store at least one other piece of sporting equipment, such as a golf club, and is rotatably coupled to the base by the hinge mechanism. The hinge mechanism is configured to allow each of the first and second cartridges to be rotated between an upright position and a cross position.

Abstract: Fusion Protein compositions comprising masked IFNs and methods of making masked IFNs are disclosed herein. Consequently, the masked IFNs can be fused to a Mab or binding fragment thereof and be administered to patients as a therapeutic modality and provide a method of treating cancer, immunological disorders and other disease.

Abstract: Presented are systems for manufacturing membrane electrode assemblies for fuel cells, control logic for operating such systems, methods for making such MEAs, and fuel cell systems employing such MEAs. A method of manufacturing a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) for a fuel cell system includes receiving a standalone membrane (SAM) with a semipermeable proton-exchange membrane having opposing first and second faces and a backing layer attached to the first face. A SAM may be characterized by a lack of cathode and anode electrodes upon receipt of the membrane. The second face of the SAM is placed across a vacuum plate; the vacuum plate applies a predefined vacuum pressure to the SAM. While vacuum pressure is being applied to the SAM by the vacuum plate, the backing layer is removed from the SAM. A subgasket is then attached to the first face of the SAM after the backing layer is removed.

Abstract: Maxillary devices and mandibular devices each have a first housing connectable to a tooth of a user or connectable or integral with a teeth covering, wherein the housing encloses an on-board circuit board and a power source. The first housing of the maxillary devices has a tooth connecting portion, a palate housing portion and/or a buccal housing portion. The first housing of the mandibular devices has a tooth connecting portion and a sublingual portion. Each of the palate housing portion and the buccal housing portion enclose a stimulator having an electrode electrically connected to the on-board circuit board and the power source, and can enclose a sensor and/or a medicament dispenser. Methods of treatment using the same are disclosed also.

Abstract: Disclosed in the present application is a strip mounting system that includes a mounting clip configured to removably receive a strip; and a mounting base configured to be connected to the mounting clip and to be removably connected by headless nails to a surface to be mounted. In a state in which the strip is mounted to the strip mounting system that has been connected to the surface to be mounted, hammered ends of the headless nails are shielded by the strip. A strip can be stably fixed and easy to be taken out or replaced by the strip mounting system, with almost no damage to the wall when the whole strip mounting system is dismounted, a large enough operating space for the hammering of the headless nails during the mounting process, and the headless nails shielded by the strip, thereby providing a good appearance.

Abstract: A data processing system implements detecting that a first user device associated with a first user has added a first sponsored content item to a host electronic document by adding a first reference to the first sponsored content item to the host electronic document. The first sponsored content item is stored separately in a memory of a cloud-based service from the host electronic document. The data processing system further implements determining that the first user has permission to share the first sponsored content item with other users of the cloud-based service, generating sponsor information to associate the sponsored content item with the host electronic document to permit users having access to the host electronic document to access the sponsored content item, and storing the sponsor information in a sponsored access datastore.

Abstract: An information management system may store information related to tasks to be performed by workers in an organization. Workers in the organization may communicate with the information management system using email messages. The information management system may not require a login or authentication procedure, and workers may interact with the information management system without the need to log in to the information management system. The information management system may receive an email message from a worker that indicates a request for a report. The information management system may determine whether to transmit the report to the worker based on whether the worker is appropriately registered with the information management system, and/or whether the worker has administrative privileges. The information management system, in response to a positive determination, may transmit the report to the email address from which the requesting email message was sent.

Abstract: An electrode connector adapted for attachment to a biomedical patient electrode by either pinch or snap connection includes a pair of pivotally connected members including a connector body and a jaw pivotally connected to said connector body, with the jaw defining a beveled lower surface that functions to urge the jaw open by engagement of the top surface of an ECG stud thereby allowing the connector to be attached by snap engagement. An electrically conducting plate is disposed at the bottom of the connector to maximize electrical contact with the electrode stud. The jaw member further includes a lip functioning to engage a lower portion of the head of the stud and urge the radially enlarged base of the stud into electrical contact with the bottom surface of said electrically conducting member. An ECG electrode connector in accordance with the present invention may further be fabricated of radiolucent materials.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to a bare fiber connection system that includes first and second multi-fiber fiber optic connectors that have a retractable shroud with a pivotal locking member mounted thereon. The pivotal locking member can be configured to lock the retractable shroud in an extended position. The pivotal locking member can be pivoted about a pivot point while remaining attached to the retractable shroud to unlock the retractable shroud such that the retractable shroud can move to a retracted position.

Abstract: A system and method for cleaning, preparing, and treating a new or used equipment surface with surface property modifiers. The method may comprise a cleaning procedure using clean water, a preparation of substrate to verify all areas of the substrate are clean and dry, a chemically preparation of the surface of the substrate by using a 1st alkaline preparation chemical and 2nd neutralizer preparation chemical to raise the surface area tension as high as possible and remove any hydrocarbon molecules and any possible organic oils that were left over from the metal forming, rinsing and drying substrate by using Isopropyl Alcohol to speed up the process, and applying at least an oxidizer to modify the surface property, such that a strong covalent bond can be formed, thereby preventing impurities from adhering to the treated surface.

Abstract: A method including sending a registration request comprising a public identifier of a user to a computer-implemented funds transfer network to cause the computer-implemented funds transfer network to send a message to the user using the public identifier of the user to perform a validation that the public identifier is usable to contact the user. The registration request is a request to register an account of the user for real-time payments through the computer-implemented funds transfer network. The method also can include sending a confirmation message to the computer-implemented funds transfer network to validate that the public identifier is usable to contact the user and to cause the computer-implemented funds transfer network to register the user by storing a record in a directory of the computer-implemented funds transfer network that associates the public identifier with a private identifier. Abstract: The concepts described herein provide a system and associated charging connector that is capable of offloading electric power stored in a rechargeable energy storage system (RESS) of an electrified vehicle to supply electric power to a stationary system, e.g., a residential dwelling or a business site, upon occurrence of a power outage in an electric power grid that supplies electric power to the stationary system. This includes the charging connector being capable of offloading electric power under conditions in which the RESS of the electrified vehicle is initially disconnected from the charging connector when the power outage occurs. This concept enables an electrified vehicle to supply electric power to a stationary system when connecting after a delay period subsequent to the power outage.

Abstract: Stable, injectable pharmaceutical compositions are provided, which are useful as ready-to-dilute (RTD) or ready-to-use (RTU) liquid injectable compositions comprising bendamustine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and which are suitable for intravenous administration. Preferably, solution formulations comprise (a) bendamustine, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, or hydrates thereof, (b) at least one pharmaceutically acceptable non-aqueous solvent; (c) optionally, at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, and (d) optionally, a pH adjuster, where the pharmaceutical composition is antioxidant-free, and formulated as a ready-to-dilute or ready-to-use liquid composition suitable for parenteral administration. The invention further relates to methods for manufacturing stable, antioxidant-free injectable solutions of bendamustine.
