A braiding system configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, an upper drive unit, a lower drive unit, a mandrel coaxial with the upper and lower drive units, and a plurality of tubes extending between the upper drive unit and the lower drive unit. Each tube can be configured to receive individual filaments for forming the tubular braid, and the upper drive unit and the lower drive unit can act against the tubes in synchronization to cross the filaments over and under one another to form the tubular braid on the mandrel.
Abstract: The present disclosure applies trained artificial intelligence (AI) processing adapted to automatically generating transformations of formatted templates. Pre-existing formatted templates (e.g., slide-based presentation templates) are leveraged by the trained AI processing to automatically generate a plurality of high-quality template transformations. In transforming a formatted template, the trained AI processing not only generates feature transformation of objects thereof but may also provide style transformations where attributes associated with a presentation theme may be modified for a formatted template or set of formatted templates. The trained AI processing is novel in that it is tailored for analysis of feature data of a specific type of formatted template.

Abstract: A method of verifying telecommunications messaging traffic between two entities and monetizing the verified traffic. A receiving entity receives a message from a sending entity. The message includes a hash value computed by the sending entity based on the content of the message. The hash value is encrypted using a private key of the sending entity. The receiving entity identifies, within a blockchain, a Decentralized Identifier (DID) associated with the sending entity, resolves the DID into a DID document, and retrieves therefrom a public key associated with the sending entity. The receiving entity decrypts the hash value provided by the sending entity using the retrieved public key. The receiving entity independently computes a hash value based on the message content and compares the computed hash value against the decrypted hash value. If the hash values match, the message is verified and routed to its target recipient.
Abstract: Techniques performed by a data processing system for a machine learning driven teleprompter include displaying a teleprompter transcript associated with a presentation on a display of a computing device associated with a presenter; receiving audio content of the presentation including speech of the presenter in which the presenter is reading the teleprompter transcript; analyzing the audio content of the presentation using a first machine learning model to obtain a real-time textual translation of the audio content, the first machine learning model being a natural language processing model trained to receive audio content including speech and to translate the audio content into a textual representation of the speech; analyzing the real-time textual representation and the teleprompter transcript with a second machine learning model to obtain transcript position information; and automatically scrolling the teleprompter transcript on the display of the computing device based on the transcript position informatio

Abstract: A computing device is described for performing local interference avoidance, when supporting concurrent voice and data transmissions, and with access to multiple radios. The computing device predicts when coexistence issues will occur from maintaining independent voice and data transmissions using separate radios. To avoid local interference issues, the computing device automatically switches to operating a different combination of radios, making local interference less likely to occur. In some cases, the computing device may consolidate the voice and non-voice data exchanges to occur using a single radio. In some cases, rather than consolidation, the computing device may move the voice or the non-voice data exchange to a different radio as a way to avoid the local interference.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining foot force data that is created by sampling, in accordance with a sampling signal, data from a plurality of pressure sensing elements of a shoe sensor system, where the plurality of pressure sensing elements are distributed in a pattern having a first pressure sensing element at a fifth metatarsal area of a lateral wall of an insole of a shoe associated with the shoe sensor system, and a second pressure sensing element at a first metatarsal area of a medial wall of the insole. The method further includes processing the foot force data to determine a horizontal force of a foot of a user of the shoe sensor system while the user is performing a movement while wearing the shoe.

Abstract: A compact axial turbine configured to operate with high density working fluid is described. The turbine comprises an axial majority cantilevered turbomachinery shaft. Rotor assemblies and nozzle spacers communicate torque through turbine shaft splines, allowing them to be slid off the shaft for quick replacement in the field. The compact axial turbine houses turbomachinery within a separable inner casing encircled by a cartridge sleeve, thereby forming a cartridge which can itself be removed as a single component.
Abstract: A touch sensor device (TSD) includes TSD electrodes associated with a surface of the TSD. Also, an overlay that includes marker electrode(s) is also associated with at least a portion of the surface of the TSD. The TSD also includes drive-sense circuits (DSCs) operably coupled to the plurality of TSD electrodes. A DSC is configured to provide a TSD electrode signal to a TSD electrode and simultaneously to sense a change of the TSD electrode signal based on a change of impedance of the TSD electrode caused by capacitive coupling between the TSD electrode and the marker electrode(s) of the overlay. Processing module(s) is configured to process a digital signal generated by the DSC to determine characteristic(s) of the overlay that is associated with the at least a portion of the surface of the TSD.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for modeling fabrication constraints of a fabrication process is described. The method includes receiving training data including pre-fabrication structures and post-fabrication, training a fabrication constraint model by optimizing parameters of the fabrication constraint model based on the training data to model the fabrication constraints of the fabrication process, receiving an input design corresponding to a physical device, and generating a fabricability metric of the input design via the fabrication constraint model. The fabricability metric is related to a probabilistic certainty that the input design is fabricable by the fabrication process determined by the fabrication constraint model.
