Abstract: Described are apparatus, systems, and methods of improving cleaning of, e.g., stairs of swimming pools. Automatic swimming pool cleaners (APCs) capable of autonomous movement within water-containing vessels may be utilized to provide enhanced cleaning of sections of the vessels containing stairs or other angled surfaces.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed to correlate census measurement data with panel data. An example system includes accessing means to access a message sent from a requesting device in response to accessing media that includes a tag causing the requesting device to send the message to a monitoring entity with an identification of a geographic location of the requesting device and media identifying information. The example system also includes identification means to determine locations of a plurality of panelist homes and compare the geographic location of the requesting device with the locations of the panelist homes. The example system also includes associating means to identify a user of the requesting device as a panelist residing at the first panelist home and associate the media identifying information with panelist data associated with the first one of the panelist homes.

Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for a multi-frequency transducer array. In one example, the transducer array includes an element formed of one or more sub-elements, at least one sub-element having a different resonance frequency. A frequency range of the transducer array may thereby be broadened.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a kamado-style grill and smoker having one or more air-intake openings and one or more exhaust openings. Like conventional kamado-style grills and smokers, a user may manually adjust the air-intake opening(s) and/or exhaust opening(s) to manually control the air flow, and thus the temperature, within the cooking chamber. However, unlike the prior art, the kamado-style grill and smoker includes an integrated fan unit that provides a completely different and alternative air-intake pathway for drawing air into the cooking chamber and controlling the cooking or smoking temperature using a fan. By providing this alternative mechanism for controlling the temperature in the cooking chamber, the kamado-style grill and smoker disclosed herein can be operated using either manual or automated temperature control, making it accessible to both novice and experienced users alike.

Abstract: A prosthetic heart valve includes a radially expandable annular frame and a valve body disposed inside the frame. The valve body includes three leaflets configured to regulate the flow of blood through the frame in one direction. The prosthetic heart valve also includes an annular inner skirt secured to an inner surface of the frame. The inner skirt has an inflow edge oriented toward an inflow end of the frame, an outflow edge oriented toward an outflow end of the frame, and first and second lateral edges extending from the inflow edge to the outflow edge, wherein the first lateral edge and the second lateral edge are secured together. The first lateral edge and the second lateral edge are oriented at an oblique angle relative to a plane that is perpendicular to a central longitudinal axis of the frame.

Abstract: A connector for connecting an oxygen delivery device to a patient interface. The connector includes a housing with a first lumen for delivering oxygen and a second lumen to allow pressure to be measured. A third optional lumen may allow for gas sampling. The housing surrounding the first and second lumen has a portion that includes encoding for determining the type of patient interface being used, as well as a depth indicator sensor.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a scan request requesting to scan a set of network-connected assets designated for a network scan. For each respective network-connected asset, the method includes scanning, at a network security scanner using a first scanning privilege level, the respective network-connected asset. The method includes determining, based on the scan using the first scanning privilege level, whether the respective network-connected asset has a vulnerability. In response, the method includes scanning, at the network security scanner using a second scanning privilege level, the respective network-connected asset. The second scanning privilege level defines a lower level of access the network security scanner has than the first scanning privilege level. The method includes determining, based on the scans, an exposure level of the vulnerability. The method includes reporting the exposure level of the vulnerability to a user of the respective network-connected asset.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide for live encoding systems that can replicate a current encoded frame instead of re-encoding said current frame, and then adjust the replicated frame to different bitrates, resolutions, and/or contexts as necessary for the several different adaptive bitrate streams. In addition, various embodiments of the invention can extend a duration of a current frame being repackaged and/or re-encoded. Utilizing these and other techniques, live encoding systems in accordance with embodiments of the invention can more efficiently handle gaps in received data, slower feeding of data, and/or heavy loads on server hardware.

Abstract: Both wireless communication and communications via a cable modem are supported between a network node and a customer premises. Alternative communications links provide redundancy and the possibility to take advantage of the different types of links capacity to provide a level of service that would not be possible using a single communications link to a customer premises. In various embodiments a network node, such as a cable network node hubsite, has an optical connection to the Internet or another communications network and provides network access to one or a plurality of customer premises. The network node includes a wireless access point, e.g., pole mounted base station, as well as one or more cable modem interfaces to thereby allow for both wireless and cable modem based communications. This allows for packets of different applications to traverse different links and/or to switch between links in the event of maintenance or reliability issues.

The methods and systems may include activating an evaporative emissions system heater and a pump to de-ice the engine air intake filter and the engine throttle. The deicing may be performed when an engine of a vehicle is not operating.

Abstract: An airlaid substrate includes at least one bicomponent fiber having a first region and a second region. The first region includes polypropylene and the second includes a blend of an ethylene-base polymer and an ethylene acid copolymer. The ethylene-base polymer has a density from 0.920 g/cm3 to 0.970 g/cm3 and a melt index (I2) from 0.5 g/10 min to 150 g/10 min. The ethylene acid copolymer includes the polymerized reaction product of from 60 wt % to 99 wt % ethylene monomer and from 1 wt % to 40 wt % unsaturated dicarboxylic acid comonomer, based on the total weight of the monomers in the ethylene acid copolymer. The ethylene acid copolymer having a melt index (I2) from 0.5 g/10 min to 500 g/10 min.

Abstract: A heat exchanger system includes a rigid framework. A first heat exchanger may be coupled to a first support structure on a top of the rigid framework. A second heat exchanger may be positioned below the first heat exchanger. The second heat exchanger may be coupled to a second support structure. The second support structure may hang from the rigid framework via a first set of tethers. The first set of tethers may be configured to vertically and horizontally move the second support structure. The vertically and horizontally movement of the second support structure may be based on a thermal expansion of the second heat exchanger.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are described herein for determining a location from anonymous data. For example, a computing device may receive anonymous data associated with a browser session initialized by a user via a browser on a user computing device. The computing device may determine that the user has not been assigned a unique identifier. The computing device may determine whether the user opted-in to location tracking. If the user opted-out of location tracking, the computing device may determine a latitude coordinate and a longitude coordinate of the user computing device during the browser session. The computing device may identify a physical address for the user based on the latitude coordinate and the longitude coordinate, for example, using a map application programming interface (API). The computing device may assign the unique identifier to the user. The computing device may associate the unique identifier to the physical address.

The handle is made up of two, welded, symmetrical handle halves, each handle half having an opening for receiving a hang hole piece and a notched distal end for forming a handle opening to receive the blade piece elongated tang. In an embodiment, the handle includes a curved distal end accommodating a curved welded connection between the blade piece and the handle. The hand tool further includes a hang hole piece configured for placement through the hang hole openings in the handle and for welded connection to the handle. In an embodiment, the elongated tang includes a hang hole opening through which the hang hole extends. Some embodiments further include one or more tang guide pieces welded to the interior of the handle.
