  • Patent number: 11796186
Abstract: Described herein is a device that will restrict the radiant heat from transferring all around a patio heater and instead will effectively focus, deflect and/or reflect radiant and convective heat from a patio heater toward a desired direction. By focusing the heat toward one direction, heat is not lost to the unoccupied direction where no persons are lounging. Rather, more of the heat is directed toward the people and thus the heater operates more efficiently.

  • Patent number: 11796670
Abstract: A radar point cloud data processing method and device, an apparatus, and storage medium are provided, which are related to technical fields of radar point cloud, automatic driving, and deep learning. An implementation includes: determining a target location area where a target object is located by utilizing a target detection box in the radar point cloud data; removing each point of the target object in the target location area from the radar point cloud data; and adding an object model to the target location area. By applying embodiments of the present disclosure, richer radar point cloud data may be obtained by removing the target object from the radar point cloud data and adding the needed three-dimensional model to the target location area in the radar point cloud data.

  • Patent number: 11794701
Abstract: A solenoid valve in a manifold is commanded to move to a closed position. Upon activating a pump to supply fluid to the manifold via a supply line, a first pressure is determined in the supply line after commanding the solenoid valve to move to the closed position. Upon deactivating the pump to stop supplying fluid to the manifold, a second pressure is determined in the supply line. Based on a difference between the first pressure and the second pressure, the solenoid valve is determined to be one of (a) at least partially open or (b) in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 11793897
Abstract: A self-sanitizing surface structure configured to selectively refract light, a method of fabricating a self-sanitizing surface configured to selectively refract light, and a method of decontaminating a surface using selectively refracted light. A waveguide including a support layer below a propagating layer is positioned over a substrate as a self-sanitizing layer. In the absence of a contaminant or residue on the waveguide, UV light injected into the propagating layer is constrained within the propagating layer due to total internal reflection. When a residue is present on the self-sanitizing surface structure, light may be selectively refracted at or near the interface with the residue along the side of the waveguide to destroy the residue. The self-sanitizing surface structure may be configured to refract a suitable amount of UV light in response to a particular type of residue or application.

  • Patent number: 11797079
Abstract: A variable effect activation system includes one or more sensors that generate data. The data can be assessed to determine if the data is indicative of a valid input to an interactive effect. Valid inputs may be assessed based on a lenient or relatively non-stringent threshold to permit a wide variety of guest actions to be considered valid inputs. While many of these guest actions may not be recognized as part of preprogrammed interactions with an interactive environment, the system nonetheless assesses characteristics of these inputs to provide an appropriate response, e.g., via activation of an interactive effect in a manner that aligns with the characteristics.

  • Patent number: 11794044
Abstract: A method of forming and maintaining GPS tracked and mapped environmentally-clean chemical-based firebreaks and fire protection zones on, over and/or about property surfaces that proactively inhibit fire ignition and flame spread when exposed to wild fire. The method involves wirelessly connecting a GPS-tracking anti-fire (AF) liquid spraying system to a wireless communication network supporting a network database. The GPS-tracking anti-fire liquid spraying system is used to spray particular GPS-specified ground surfaces with an environmentally-clean anti-fire chemical liquid so to form an environmentally-clean chemical firebreak over the GPS-specified property surfaces, while generating GPS-coordinate and time/date stamped data records pertaining to the application of the environmentally-clean anti-fire chemical liquid spray during the formation of the environmentally-clean chemical firebreak or fire protection zone.
