  • Patent number: 12244385
Abstract: The disclosure provides a method and a device in a User Equipment (UE) and a base station for multi-antenna transmission. The UE transmits a first radio signal in a first time interval, and receives a second radio signal in a second time interval; and then monitors a third radio signal in a third time interval. The first radio signal includes first information, and the second radio signal includes second information. Target information is used for receiving the third radio signal. A time-domain position of the second time interval is used for determining whether the target information is the first information or the second information. A time-domain position of the third time interval is associated to a time-domain position of the first time interval. The UE can select a beam direction corresponding to a downlink channel according to its measurement, thereby improving efficiency and performances of downlink transmission.

  • Patent number: 12243660
Abstract: A nuclear fuel rod includes a cladding comprising an interior region. A pressure transmission apparatus is configured to measure pressure in the interior region. Fuel pellets and a resonant electrical circuit are in the interior region. The resonant electrical circuit is configured to generate a pulse that travels wirelessly from the interior region through the cladding. A frequency of the pulse varies based on pressure measured by the pressure transmission apparatus. The frequency of the pulse is indicative of the pressure within the interior region.

  • Patent number: 12240453
Abstract: A computer is programmed to, in response to a navigation feature being active for a route, prompt an operator of the vehicle to activate a driver-assist feature of the vehicle. For example, the computer can output a message via a user interface indicating that the driver-assist feature is available to be used. The computer is further programmed to receive an input indicating a destination, determine the route for the vehicle from a current location of the vehicle to the destination, and activate the navigation feature to output guidance instructing the operator to follow the route.

  • Patent number: 12241943
Abstract: A vehicle, system and method of detecting an internal short in a battery pack of the vehicle. The system includes a plurality of sensors and a processor. The plurality of sensors obtains states of charge at battery cells of the battery pack. The processor discharges the battery pack to identify a first set of the battery cells based on the states of charge of the battery cells, charges the battery pack to identify a second set of the battery cells based on the states of charge of the battery cells, and generates an alarm when an intersection of the first set and the second set is non-empty.

  • Patent number: 12241160
Abstract: Methods of fabricating fiber structures with embedded sensors are provided. The method includes obtaining a scaffold fiber and forming, by 1½-D printing using laser induced chemical vapor deposition, circuitry on the scaffold fiber to provide a fiber structure with embedded sensor. The forming includes printing a solid state oscillator about the scaffold fiber, and printing a sensing device about the scaffold fiber electrically coupled to the solid state oscillator to effect, at least in part, oscillations of the solid state oscillator. The forming further includes printing an antenna about the scaffold fiber electrically connected to the solid state oscillator to facilitate in operation wireless transmitting of a signal from the fiber structure with embedded sensor.

  • Patent number: 12241717
Abstract: A buttstock assembly configured to work in conjunction with a compact buffer assembly consisting of a buffer tube, spring and bolt carrier with an integral buffer is provided. The buttstock assembly, buffer tube and bolt carrier are configured to work with AR15/M16 type firearms and their derivatives. By incorporating the buffer onto the bolt carrier, which is used in conjunction with a buffer tube of reduced length, the overall length of the host firearm is reduced by approximately 3.2 inches. No permanent modification need be made to the host firearm in order to utilize the compact buffer assembly and buttstock assembly disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 12241708
Abstract: An improved bolt and bolt carrier with integral gas key having an extension nozzle threadedly secured and pinned to the gas key for use with a direct gas operated firearm is provided. The extension nozzle is designed to receive a portion of the host firearm's gas operating system. The firing pin retaining pin is oriented so as to expose its widest profile to the firing pin's annular flange, increasing its service life. The bolt has a plurality of lugs extending from its forward end. The extractor recess is constructed so that the face of the bolt is round and the adjacent lugs fully supported. The extractor engages approximately 17% more of a seated ammunition cartridge's rim as compared to the prior art AR15/M16 extractor. The result is an improved bolt and bolt carrier which provides for increased operational reliability.

  • Patent number: 12241259
Abstract: The present disclosure provides embodiments of a porcelain board tile assembly. In an embodiment, assembly includes two or more porcelain board tiles cut from a reinforced porcelain panel product. A bottom surface of each porcelain board tiles to be adhesively affixed to a mounting wall when installed. Each reinforced porcelain panel product includes a porcelain slab and a structural core board. The structural core board includes a foam-core material having a surface area and a thickness greater than the porcelain slab. A top surface of the structural core board is positioned in contact with a bottom surface of the porcelain slab with an adhesive. A buffer region, defined by regions of the structural core board extending beyond outer peripheries of the porcelain slab, enhances protection from cracking when the reinforced porcelain panel product is handled. The structural core board is configured to attach to the mounting wall.

  • Patent number: 12241223
Abstract: A pneumatic excavator for delivering pulsed compressed air includes an actuator; a controller valve; a flow valve; a barrel defining an outlet of the excavator; and a pulse control line extending between the controller valve and a port downstream from an egress of the flow valve. As compressed air flows through the egress of the flow valve, the pulse control line is pressurized and shifts the controller valve to an actuated position, causing the compressed air from the actuator to close the flow valve, thus preventing the air flow from passing through a primary flow passage and through the outlet. The pulse control line being no longer pressurized by the air flow, then causes the controller valve to move to an unactuated position to cause compressed air from the actuator open the flow valve and permit the air flow through the outlet and again pressurize the pulse control line.

  • Patent number: 12245067
Abstract: A system and method for exchanging data between a shore terminal and one or more ship terminals is illustrated. For this purpose, one or more data partitions are maintained in a message store at the shore terminal, wherein each data partition corresponds to a ship terminal from the one or more ship terminals. Further, one or more packets are received from enterprise applications running at the shore terminal. Packet comprises a payload and a meta-information, wherein the payload corresponds to data which is to be exchanged and the meta-information corresponds to an address associated with destination. Meta-information is used to store the received packets to their corresponding data partitions. Further, on establishing a stable network connection between the target ship and the message store, the payload is then transmitted from the data partitions at the message store to their corresponding destination.
