Abstract: Presented are hybrid fixture assemblies with integrated additive manufactured features, methods for making/using such fixtures, and manufacturing systems equipped with such fixtures. A manufacturing fixture assembly includes a fixture support frame formed, at least in part, from a first material, and a fixture support shell formed, at least in part, from a second material distinct from the first material. The support frame, which seats on/mounts to a work surface, includes a skeletal substructure with multiple male connectors projecting therefrom. The skeletal substructure contains multiple first frame walls that are removably intermeshed with multiple second frame walls in a collapsible format. The support shell includes a support surface that holds a workpiece, an interface surface that abuts the skeletal substructure, and multiple female connectors that project from the interface surface.

Abstract: An image processing system for verifying that embedded digital content satisfies a predetermined criterion associated with display of the content, the image processing system a content embedding engine that embeds content in a resource provided by a content provider and that configures the resource for rendering, a rendering engine that renders the content embedded in the resource; an application interface engine that interfaces with the rendering engine and that generates a visualization of the resource and of the embedded content rendered in the resource; and an image processing engine that processes one or more pixels of the generated visualization of the resource and of the embedded content and the resource to verify that the specified visual element satisfies the predetermined criterion; and transmits verification data comprising an indication of whether the predetermined criterion is satisfied.
Abstract: A base station transmits, to a wireless device via a control resource set (CORESET) of a CORESET group of CORESET groups, a downlink control information (DCI) scheduling transmission of an uplink signal, wherein each of the CORESET groups corresponds to a respective sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set of SRS resource sets. The base station determines an SRS resource set, from the SRS resource sets, corresponding to the CORESET group comprising the CORESET. The base station receives the uplink signal based on an SRS resource in the SRS resource set.

Abstract: A battery includes an anode, a cathode, and a porous separator having a surface and percolating pores providing a porosity of from 20% to 80%. A passively impact resistant composite electrolyte includes an electrolyte and electrically non-conducting particles that enable shear thickening. The particles can have a polydispersity index of no greater than 0.1, an average particle size in a range of from 50 nm to 1 ?m, and an absolute zeta potential of greater than ±40 mV. The shear thickening enabling particles can be from 10 wt. % to 40 wt. % of the total weight of the separator and shear thickening particles. Between 20-40 wt. % of the shear thickening enabling particles are located in the pores of the separator.

Abstract: Disclosed are examples of systems, methods and techniques related to delivering a service widget that collects data and provides a service. A service widget is provided in response to a widget delivery request received from a user browser. The delivered service widget enables the user browser to request item-related services from an enterprise. A request for the item-related services is received by an enterprise from the delivered service widget. Provision of the service is enabled upon confirmation that an authentication token fetched from the client backend system is valid for the client backend system, the services request may be delivered to an enterprise server. The enterprise, in response to an analysis of the information related to the item available for purchase, may indicate that the item available for purchase meets a purchase threshold of the enterprise and provide an evaluation result including parameters of the item-related services.
Abstract: One example method includes obtaining hop information of a metadata path for backup metadata, obtaining content sensitivity information indicating a relative sensitivity of backup data to an attack, based on the hop information and the content sensitivity information, selecting an encryption to be applied to the backup metadata, and applying the encryption to the backup metadata. The backup data may be encrypted with the same encryption algorithm that was used to encrypt the backup metadata.
Abstract: A mobile computing device system includes a first host application on a mobile computing device and a sub-application on the mobile computing device that is configured to selectively execute in response to execution of the first host application by the mobile computing device. A first user interface is displayed by the first host application on the mobile computing device by the first host application. The sub-application is configured to execute a method including determining a location of the mobile computing device, and if the mobile computing device is determined to be at a location within a predetermined geographic area, then generating an alert message including digital content associated with the first geographic area, and displaying the alert message on the first user interface. If the mobile computing device is not determined to be at a location within the predetermined first geographic area, then not displaying the alert message on the first user interface.
Abstract: Systems and methods for on demand service integration. A system includes at least one processor and a storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the at least one processor to perform operations including receiving from a customer system a request to integrate a partner service with an integrator instance at the customer system and searching an integrator database for a partner service communication template based on the received request. The operations also include configuring the integrator instance to receive communications from a partner service instance based on the communication template and establishing a communication link between the integrator instance and the partner service instance.
