Publication number: 20250140349Abstract: A computing system for conditional generation of protein sequences includes processing circuitry that implements a denoising diffusion probabilistic model. In an inference phase, the processing circuitry receives an instruction to generate a predicted protein sequence having a target functionality, the instruction including first conditional information and second conditional information. The processing circuitry concatenates a first conditional information embedding generated by a first encoder and a second conditional information embedding generated by a second encoder to produce a concatenated conditional information embedding. The processing circuitry samples noise from a distribution function and combines the concatenated conditional information embedding with the sampled noise to produce a noisy concatenated input.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 26, 2023Publication date: May 1, 2025Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Bruce James WITTMANN, Eric J. Publication number: 20250134519Abstract: The present invention provides a suturing device to minimize interference and obstructions during intricate surgeries. The curled suture device is significantly shorter than traditional suturing kits by featuring a needle attached to a specially manufactured thread incorporating a stopping mechanism preceding an angular, semi-rigid portion of thread followed by a curled portion of thread arranged in a corkscrew configuration. The stopping mechanism halts the movement of the thread as the needle and thread intermediate the needle and stopping mechanism is pulled through the suture point, securing the remainder of the thread for access. The semi-rigid portion of thread is thereby utilized in conjunction with its curled portion of thread, allowing for the user's unabated access to the corkscrew configuration to form a ready-made knot, minimizing interference and obstruction during surgery. The thread may be manufactured to form an additional semi-rigid and curled portions of thread upon creation of a knot.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 6, 2025Publication date: May 1, 2025Applicant: SMART SUTURES, LLCInventor: Thomas Salvant

Publication number: 20250138703Abstract: Systems and methods for generating dynamic quick actions for an application in a web browser. The dynamic quick actions correspond to various functions of an application accessible via a web browser sidebar interface. When a hover event is detected in association with an icon of the application, a quick-actions card is generated that includes quick actions of the application from which the user can select. For instance, a selection of a quick action triggers the web browser to execute an action that causes the application function to be performed. Thus, application functions are able to be surfaced and controlled via a single input device selection (e.g., a mouse click).Type: ApplicationFiled: January 3, 2025Publication date: May 1, 2025Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Taylor Alexis GUERRA, Lia JOHANSEN, Kyle Matthew MILLER, Jianjun YAN, Yu HE, Yang HUANGFU

Publication number: 20250139136Abstract: A technique partitions a user's original query into plural smaller component queries, each of which has a common part and an instance-specific part. The technique distributes the component queries to plural processor instances of a processor. The plural processor instances transform the respective component queries into query-component responses by acting in parallel, independent of each other. The technique generates a final response based on the query-component responses, e.g., by assembling the component-query responses into the final response. The technique reduces latency because the processor instances work on parts of the user's original query at the same time, rather than as a single stream of consecutive tokens. The plural processor instances have access to a shared cache memory, and utilize relevant data that has been computed in response to previous queries.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 31, 2023Publication date: May 1, 2025Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Sayan Dev PATHAK, Osama ABUELSOROUR, Christopher Hakan BASOGLU, Harini KESAVAMOORTHY, Girish Milind MAHAJAN, Salman Mohammad QUAZI, Valeriy Viktorovich KIRSHIN

Publication number: 20250141936Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for updating cybersecurity enforcement rules in real-time over disparate computer networks. A rule enforcement system may receive a real-time data stream. The real-time data stream may include real-time communications requiring cybersecurity verification. Real-time data communications are processed through a first rule repository. In response to determining that rule updates to rules within the first rule repository are available, a second rule repository is retrieved and brought online. Previously received real-time communication data is processed with the first rule repository and new real-time communication data is routed to the second rule repository. When previously received real-time communication data has been processed, the first rule repository is disabled.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 3, 2025Publication date: May 1, 2025Applicant: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Srinivas Alladi, Muthukumar Kubendran

Publication number: 20250142055Abstract: A feature value is determined based on at least one of (i) neighboring reconstructed chroma samples of a current chroma block and (ii) neighboring reconstructed luma samples of a luma block that is collocated with the current chroma block. Chroma samples of the current chroma block and luma samples of the luma block that is collocated with the current chroma block are grouped into a plurality of groups based on a threshold of the feature value. Each of the plurality of groups includes a respective chroma sample and a respective luma sample. A respective cross-component prediction mode is determined for each of the plurality of groups by comparing the respective chroma sample and the respective luma sample of each respective group to the determined feature value. The current chroma block is reconstructed based on the determined cross-component prediction modes of the plurality of groups.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 6, 2025Publication date: May 1, 2025Applicant: Tencent America LLCInventors: Xin ZHAO, Guichun LI, Lien-Fei CHEN, Shan LIU
