Abstract: A system for processing database requests includes an operator module operable to receive a request requiring a long running operation, and assign an operation identification (ID) to the long running operation; and a database module for receiving the request and the operation ID, the database module including a database daemon for launching the long running operation, storing a state of the long running operation, and reporting a status of the long running operation.

Abstract: Example systems and methods permit threat intelligence to be determined and used at a local, regional, and/or global level in a communications network. A threat intelligence system may collect traffic information from local computing systems and analyze it for malicious traffic. If a measure of malicious traffic in a local computing system is reached, mitigation actions may be taken in that local computing system. In addition, threat measures may be amplified in other local computing systems, other regions, or globally in the network, in order to more quickly react to a known threat as it may spread in a network.

Abstract: Extending access to a data model includes loading into a programmatically isolated process address space of a computer, an instance of an extension framework computer program and executing in the framework, computer program logic configured to establish a communicative channel between the isolated process address space and a data analytics computer data processing system executing in a separate process address space. Thereafter, within the framework a directive may be received to access a data model managed in the data analytics computer data processing system. In response, a function may be selected in respect to an API to the data analytics computer data processing system corresponding to the received directive. Finally, the selected API function may be invoked over the communicative channel and a result derived from the data model may be received in the framework from over the communicative channel in response to the selected API function.

Abstract: A system and method provide media content based on a household when out-of-home. A first request for media content is received that originates from a first IP address and includes a first data element identification that is associated with a first user. A determination is made that the first IP address is associated with a first internet connected household (ICH). The first data element identification is aliased with the first ICH. A second request (that includes the first data element identification) for media content is received that originates from a second IP address that corresponds to a non-household IP address. In response to the second request and the aliasing, media content is retrieved (based on the first ICH) and transmitted to the first user at the second IP address.

Abstract: In aspects of adaptive grip suppression, a wireless device has a display screen with curved display edges to display a user interface associated with a device application, the user interface including a selectable element to initiate a device application action. The wireless device implements an adaptive control module to adaptively manage grip suppression in the curved display edges of the display screen, which limits the device application action from being initiated based on inadvertent touch inputs on the selectable element. The adaptive control module can determine that the selectable element of the user interface is displayed within a region of a curved display edge of the display screen, and decrease the grip suppression in the region of the curved display edge proximate the selectable element of the user interface.

Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more configuration parameters indicating a single value for a contention resolution timer. The wireless device starts the contention resolution timer based on an initial transmission of a transport block of a random access (RA) procedure via a non-terrestrial network, where a length of the contention resolution timer is initialized equal to the single value. The wireless device receives, while the contention resolution timer is running, a first downlink control information (DCI) indicating a retransmission of the transport block. In response to the contention resolution timer expiring and the receiving the first DCI during the contention resolution timer, the wireless device does not discard a temporary cell (TC) radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) of the wireless device, where the expiry of the contention resolution timer is prior to the retransmission of the transport block.

Abstract: A method for optimizing data storage includes obtaining a data object for storage at memory hardware in communication with data processing hardware. The memory hardware includes a plurality of storage devices, each storage device of the plurality of storage devices including storage parameters different from each other storage device of the plurality of storage devices. The method also includes determining one or more data object parameters associated with the data object and predicting, using a model and the data object parameters and the storage parameters, an object temperature representative of a frequency of access for the data object and an object lifetime representative of an amount of time the data object is to be stored. The method further includes selecting, using the predicted object temperature and object lifetime, one of the storage devices, and storing the data object at the selected one of the storage devices.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for a medical diagnostic platform. The system accesses data collected on one or more source server systems and selectively extracts user information according to the desired criteria of an operator or user. The system generates a secure, user database, wherein the user database comprises the selectively extracted user information, such as medical, financial, and demographic information, from multiple source server systems creating a centralized database of user information stored in a single location. The system further generates a medical diagnostic analysis of the user in comparison to similar users and displays recommended and extrapolated results for diagnoses, procedures, treatments, and costs for the user based on the history of the similar users.

Abstract: The present invention disclosed herein provides for a unique method to use digital cameras with 360-degree capabilities to display an immersive experience to viewers. The method disclosed may comprise identifying a location, shooting a 360-degree photo, recording a 360-degree video, processing the images, compiling finished files to an interactive environment, and displaying the interactive environment to a viewer. Digital cameras with 360-degree capabilities have been used for both taking still photos and videos. Images taken in a 360 degree format may require additional processing to place into a format that is easily viewable by a user. Immersive environments are simulations that allow viewers to experience a sensation similar to that of being physically present. Virtual reality, augmented reality, interactive displays, and forms of art are various examples of immersive environments.

Abstract: To increase the speed with which a Second Layer Address Table (SLAT) is traversed, memory having the same access permissions is contiguously arranged such that one or more hierarchical levels of the SLAT need not be referenced, thereby resulting in more efficient SLAT traversal. “Slabs” of memory are established whose memory range is sufficiently large that reference to a hierarchically lower level table can be skipped and a hierarchically higher level table’s entries can directly identify relevant memory addresses. Such slabs are aligned to avoid smaller intermediate memory ranges. The loading of code or data into memory is performed based on a next available memory location within a slab having equivalent access permissions, or, if such a slab is not available, or if an existing slab does not have a sufficient quantity of available memory remaining, a new slab with the proper access permissions is established.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes various aspects of radio link management to enable unpaired receiver paths of user equipment. In some aspects, a modem of a user equipment is coupled with multiple receiver paths that include an unpaired receiver path. To enable use of the unpaired receiver path in various modes of multi-channel communication, a radio link manager of the user equipment modifies configuration information of the modem to add a nonexistent receiver path to a set of receiver path parameters for a frequency band in which the unpaired receiver path is capable of operating. Along with adding the nonexistent receiver path, the radio link manager may also modify the receiver path parameters to enable the unpaired receiver path for the frequency band. The nonexistent receiver path and unpaired receiver path are then exposed for use by the modem to implement one or more multi-channel receive modes for the frequency band.
