Abstract: Systems and devices for use in working on aircraft, automobiles or other machines are disclosed. A creeper for use in working on aircraft, automobiles or other machines may include a bottom frame; a top frame; a plurality of rolling members disposed on the bottom frame; and a seat and backrest disposed on the top frame. The top frame is configured to be height adjustable, and the angle of the backrest is independently adjustable relative to the seat. A system for an adjustable seat, an adjustable backrest, and a rolling means for a mechanical creeper is also disclosed. The system includes a mechanic's creeper that comprises a bottom frame; a plurality of rolling members disposed on the bottom frame; a top frame; a seat disposed on the top frame; a backrest disposed on the top frame; and an adjustment mechanism disposed between the bottom frame and the top frame.

Abstract: A method for cross-bore risk management involves receiving at least one dataset comprising a plurality of assets and cross-bore data. A risk probability value is calculated, using a processor, based on the cross-bore data for each asset of the plurality of assets using machine learning techniques. The risk probability values are spatially distributed around each respective asset. A graphical output is produced that illustrates the risk probability for a specified geographical area based on the spatially distributed risk probability values.

Abstract: A method performed by a computing device includes generating a comparative query entigen group set based on a comparative query in accordance with identigen rules, where the comparative query entigen group set represents a most likely interpretation of the comparative query. The method further includes obtaining a first response entigen group from a knowledge database based on a first comparative query entigen group of the comparative query entigen group set, where the first response entigen group substantially includes the first comparative query entigen group. The method further includes obtaining a second response entigen group from the knowledge database based on a second comparative query entigen group of the comparative query entigen group set, where the second response entigen group substantially includes the second comparative query entigen group. The method further includes generating a comparative response based on the first response entigen group and the second response entigen group.

Abstract: A non-water-activatable cast has one or more layers of sheet-like material which create a combined flexibility, stiffness, or rigidity so that the cast may be manually positioned in substantial contact with a lower extremity to be received within the cast. As such, the cast is not only readily deployable by a patient, but has predetermined flexibility located and selected to control ankle movement within a therapeutically appropriate range, whether used by itself or in association with a related orthosis, such as a CAM walker. In certain applications, the cast likewise offloads or otherwise redistributes force by virtue of the rigidity of the plantar impact surface on such cast and the rigidity of other cast portions.

Abstract: A wireless device may receive one or more configuration parameters indicating a single frequency network (SFN) scheme. The wireless device may further receive a command activating at least two transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for a control resource set (coreset). The wireless device may monitor, via the coreset, downlink control channels based on the at least two active TCI states and determine a radio link quality based on the at least two active TCI states of the coreset, when the one or more configuration parameters indicate the SFN scheme. The wireless device may further transmit an uplink signal indicating the radio failure, when the radio link quality indicates a radio failure.

Abstract: A burial vault system and burial vault kit arrangement include a first pair of lateral sides; a second pair of lateral sides; a base having a length and a width configured to releasably receive the first pair of lateral sides at opposing ends of the length and configured to releasably receive the second pair of lateral sides at opposing ends of the width; the second pair of lateral sides each defining an inner surface, for a dual capacity system the inner surface defining at least one channel extending partially along respective heights of the lateral sides; and at least one crossbar element configured received within the channel to span to brace the second pair of lateral sides to resist compression and support shelf and a casket. A lid further includes lid support cross members to prevent deformation, affixed to the lid during assembly. A method of assembly is also disclosed. A kit assembly of the burial vault is presented.

Abstract: A command center storage system includes a stationary unit and a moveable unit. The stationary unit comprises a support platform and a lower storage cavity disposed at least partially below the support platform. The support platform has an upper and lower surface and a forward and rearward region. The lower surface is adjacent to a loading floor of a vehicle and the rearward region includes an opening to the lower storage chamber. The moveable unit moves between a rear position and a forward position relative to the stationary unit, and extends over a portion of the rearward region of the support platform and the opening to the lower storage chamber when the moveable unit is in the rear position. The moveable unit extends over a portion of the forward region of the support platform such that the opening to the lower storage chamber is accessible when the moveable unit is in the forward position.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for transporting or transferring insect pupae in an aqueous solution are described. The system includes a tank containing a solution with insect pupae, a transfer chamber having an outlet at a bottom portion of the chamber, a solution inlet, an evacuation channel, and a depth measurement system. A tube fluidly connects to tank and the transfer chamber. An evacuation device connected to the evacuation channel removes air from the transfer chamber and generates a vacuum therein to draw the solution through the tube into the transfer chamber.

Abstract: Systems and methods for split rendering of Network Based Media Processing (NBMP) are provided. A method includes deriving a media processing workflow; and obtaining connectivity information of at least one media processing entity (MPE) from among a plurality of MPEs, wherein the connectivity information describes a connection characteristic between at least two MPEs from among the plurality of MPEs; and assigning a plurality of workflow tasks of the media processing workflow among the plurality of MPEs based on the connectivity information.

A fidelity system is configured to determine a fidelity of at least some of the plurality of quantum states. A classical store is coupled to the fidelity system and configured to store classical data comprising the determined fidelity information and an index that associates particular ones of classical data with particular ones of the plurality of quantum states and to supply at least some of the classical data to a classical data output at a second desired time. A processor is connected to the classical store and determines the first time based on the index.

Abstract: A remote server computing system is configured to deploy a cloud-service-managed control plane and a cloud service data plane spanning the remote server computing system, a local edge computing device, and a local on-premises computing device connected in a hybrid cloud environment. Energy-related training data is received including a plurality of energy-related training data pairs. A machine learning function is trained using the plurality of training data pairs to predict a classified label for restricted energy-related data that is not accessible to the remote server computing system. The trained machine learning function is deployed to the one or more of the local edge computing device and the local on-premises computing device via the cloud service data plane. The remote server computing system is further configured to receive, via the cloud service data plane, classified output of the trained machine learning function.

Abstract: Systems and methods for enhancing computer-generated visualization of items, including enhancing visualization of product images in a web-based augmented reality (AR) user interface, displaying elements that enable users to select AR-enabled images of products (e.g., room décor, furniture, or other products), and transmitting AR-enabled images of the products in a room to one or more distributed computer systems (e.g., in real time). These and other images may be saved or selected in the various platforms, web-based documents, or locally-run applications as AR-enabled images of products to view a set of user-selected AR-enabled images in a single view (e.g., on a web page), and, when in a room, selectively display and interact with an AR-enabled view in the room of the corresponding products from the AR-enabled images list.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for mesh coding (encoding and/or decoding). In some examples, an apparatus for coding mesh includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry decodes, using a point cloud compression (PCC) decoder and from a bitstream, a point cloud that includes first points corresponding to vertices in a three dimensional (3D) mesh frame. The 3D mesh frame represents a surface of an object with polygons. The processing circuitry decodes, from the bitstream, first connectivity information of the 3D mesh frame. The first connectivity information has been signaled in the bitstream. The processing circuitry infers, second connectivity information of the 3D mesh frame, from the first points of the point cloud. The second connectivity information is not signaled in the bitstream. The processing circuitry reconstructs the 3D mesh frame based on the point cloud, the first connectivity information and the second connectivity information.
