Abstract: Systems and methods for semantic temporal segmentation based on topic recognition are disclosed. Text classification and segmentation may be used to index media content for subsequent searches. The method may include using a text classification model to semantically analyze sentences in a text file (such as a transcript) to determine topics with which sentences are associated. The output of the text classification model may be provided to a text segmentation model to enable more-accurate identification of text segments (e.g., paragraphs) within the text file. In some examples, the output of a text segmentation model is provided to a text classification model to enable the text classification model to perform more-accurate classification based on text segments rather than (or in addition to) performing classification on single sentences. The classification of the text segments may be used to assign labels to the text segments to enable subsequent searches based on the labels.

Abstract: A method of recovering uranium (U) metal from uranium tetrafluoride (UF4) using a furnace including a reactor is disclosed. The method comprises placing UF4, a first material, and a second material that is different from the first material into the reactor. A eutectic composition comprising the first material, the second material, and fluoride has a melting point that is less than the melting point of U. The method further comprises raising the initial temperature of the UF4, the first material, and the second material to initiate a reaction between the first material, the second material, and the UF4 which drives the temperature of the reactor to a raised temperature to form a slag phase and a metal phase separate from the slag phase in the reactor.

Abstract: This document discloses techniques, apparatuses, and systems for secure pseudo-random number generator (PRNG) reseeding. Integrated circuits (ICs) may use PRNGs to enable cryptographic processes that can protect an IC or electronic device against malicious attacks. Generally, an IC (e.g., a security circuit) may seed or reseed a PRNG with entropy useful to generate pseudo-random numbers or bits. In generating entropy, however, operation of the IC may change and result in circuit characteristics that allow attackers to determine when the IC operates on entropy-related secret information. In this way, attackers may identify moments when attacks have a higher chance of revealing the secret information. In aspects of secure PRNG reseeding, security circuitry may operate circuit elements to limit an association between circuit operations related to entropy generation and observable circuit characteristics.
