Publication number: 20230153058Abstract: The various implementations described herein include methods and systems for synchronous audio playback. In one aspect, a method is performed at each of a plurality of electronic devices, each having an audio system, an internal clock, processors and memory storing programs for execution by the processors. Each device is configured for two-way communications with a server and associated with a user account. The device receives an identification of a first device as a common clock device that has a first internal clock being designated as a master clock. The device receives a synchronized audio playback command that includes audio data to be output and a future playback time. In response to receiving the audio data, the device determines a synchronized audio playback time. If the determined synchronized audio playback time has not yet occurred, the electronic device outputs the audio data based on the determined synchronized audio playback time.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 20, 2023Publication date: May 18, 2023Applicant: Google LLCInventors: Kenneth Mackay, Adrian Paul Diaconu, Xiaowei Jiang, Christopher K. Publication number: 20230153193Abstract: Disclosed are hardware and techniques for correcting computer process faults by identifying risk associated with correcting a computer process fault and computer processes that may depend on the corrected computer process. The interdependent computer processes in a network may be determined by evaluating a stream of process break flags from a monitoring component coupled to the network. Each computer process break flag in the stream of computer process break flags indicates a process fault detected by the monitoring component and is correlated to a corrective response. The break flag and the corrective response are assigned a risk. A risk matrix accounts for interdependencies between computer processes and identified corrective actions. A final response strategy that corrects the computer process faults is determined using the assigned risk and computer system interdependence.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 23, 2023Publication date: May 18, 2023Applicant: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Bhavik GUDKA, Surya AVIRNENI, Eric BARNUM, Milind PATEL

Publication number: 20230152489Abstract: Field calibration of a pressure device involves collecting simultaneous pressure data or pressure and temperature data at two devices for multiple time points. Pressure differences between pairs of simultaneous data points of the collected pressure data are calculated. A model is fitted to the pressure differences and the temperatures and/or pressures, and model parameters are used to correct measurements from the second device. Alternatively, a pressure gradient is estimated for a region that encompasses the two devices for each time point. A distance is determined between the two devices. A pressure gradient difference is determined between the two devices for each time point. A pressure difference offset is obtained for one of the pairs of simultaneous data points for each time point. An average pressure difference offset is determined between the two devices and is used to correct measurements from one of the devices.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 7, 2022Publication date: May 18, 2023Applicant: NextNav, LLCInventors: Michael DORMODY, Guiyuan HAN, Badrinath NAGARAJAN, Wei LIU, Prashant DAVE, Arun RAGHUPATHY
