Abstract: A fencing system includes a first support member, a first linking member and a second linking member each extending between a first end and an opposite second end. The first linking member includes a first elongated slot spaced from a second elongated slot and the second linking member includes a first elongated slot spaced from a second elongated slot. The system also includes a coupling member configured to couple the first linking member and the second linking member with the first support member in an arrangement where the first linking member is positioned on a first side of the first support member, the second linking member is positioned on an opposite, second side of the first support member, and the coupling member extends through the first elongated slots of each of the first linking member and the second linking member.

Abstract: Systems and methods for securely pairing a transmitting device with a receiving device are described. The systems and methods may communicate with a first device via a first communication method over a wireless communication network. The systems and methods may transmit, to the first device via a second communication method, a first sensory pattern representing a first key. In addition, the system and methods may communicate with the first device via the first communication method using the first key.

Abstract: Phospholipid-polymer-aromatic conjugates comprising binding ligands, liposome compositions including the phospholipid-polymer-aromatic conjugates, and binding ligands having an affinity for misfolded proteins are described. The phospholipid-polymer-aromatic conjugate may be represented by Structural Formula I: PL-AL-HP-X-BL (I). In Formula I, PL is a phospholipid, AL is an aliphatic linkage, HP is hydrophilic polymer, X is a link between the phospholipid-polymer and the binding ligand, and BL is polycyclic aromatic compound that functions as a binding ligand. The liposomal compositions may be useful for the imaging of misfolded and/or aggregated proteins.

Abstract: A portable, collapsible video production system includes a case having a top lid connected to a bottom lid, a lift rigidly secured within the case to the top lid or the bottom lid, and a collapsible camera system rigidly secured to a top of the lift. The camera system includes a bottom frame member housing a computer with a screen, a middle frame member housing a transparent substrate that, when angled with respect to the bottom frame member, is configured to project an image of the screen to a user facing the case, and a top frame member housing a camera that, when angled with respect to the bottom frame member, is configured to aim the camera through the transparent substrate at a user facing the case. The bottom frame, the middle frame, and the upper frame are pivotably connected to each other along a hinge axis.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling lightfield and/or holographic media to be streamed to a client, determining a bandwidth based on a status of a client buffer, splitting the scene of the lightfield and/or holographic media, determining whether the assets are present in the client buffer, mapping the assets to respective ones of the split scenes and to the client buffer, controlling a transmission assets to the client buffer based on the bandwidth, the mapping, and whether one or more of the assets are determined to be present in the client buffer, and controlling the client to reuse at least one of the assets when rendering at least one of the split scenes.

Abstract: A blade housing includes: a rotary blade and an opening, in which the blade housing is configured to be affixed to a blade housing connector, and in which when a motor rotates the blade housing connector, the rotary blade rotates to cut a post-tension (PT) tendon tail inside a stressing pocket, in which the blade housing is sized to fit within the stressing pocket, in which the opening of the blade housing is sized to allow the PT tendon tail to be extended through the blade housing.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for video decoding. The apparatus includes processing circuitry that decodes prediction information indicating bi-prediction with coding unit (CU)-level weights (BCW) for a current block in a current picture. The processing circuitry performs template matching (TM) on BCW candidate weights by determining a respective TM cost corresponding to each BCW candidate weight. Each TM cost is determined based on a portion or all of a current template of the current block and a respective bi-predictor template. The bi-predictor template is based on the respective BCW candidate weight, a portion or all of a first reference template in a first reference picture, and a portion or all of a second reference template in a second reference picture. The processing circuitry reorders the BCW candidate weights based on the respectively determined TM costs.

Abstract: A method of decoding JVET video includes receiving a bitstream indicating how a coding tree unit was partitioned into coding units, and parsing said bitstream to generate at least one predictor based on an intra prediction mode signaled in the bitstream. The predictor may be generated by interpolating neighboring pixels for each pixel within a coding block. The computation may be more accurate by deriving a value for a bottom right neighboring pixel.

Abstract: A visual system for an electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft is illustrated. The system comprises an exterior visual device, a flight controller, and a pilot display. The exterior visual device is attached to the aircraft and is configured to detect an input of views of the exterior environment of the electric aircraft. The flight controller is communicatively connected to the aircraft, receives input from the exterior visual device, and generates an output of the view of the exterior environment of the aircraft as a function of the input. The pilot display is in the aircraft, receives the output of the view of exterior environment of the electric aircraft, and displays the output to a user.

Abstract: A data processing system implements techniques for provisioning and operating databases including receiving a request to provision a new database that includes multiple replicas. The data processing system provisions the new database including the plurality of replicas. The plurality of replicas includes a primary replica, one or more secondary replicas, and one or more delta replicas. The primary replica is configured to handle read and write operations. The one or more secondary replicas include a copy of data and transactional log information of the primary replica and are unable to handle write operations. The one or more delta replicas are a copy of the transactional log information of the primary replica and are unable to handle read operations or write operations.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for vehicle speed planning based on timing of traffic lights. In an exemplary embodiment, a disclosed system includes one or more sensors of a vehicle; a transceiver; and a processor. The one or more sensors are configured to obtain vehicle sensor data pertaining to operation of the vehicle. The transceiver is configured to obtain traffic light data with respect to a plurality of traffic lights along a path or roadway on which the vehicle is travelling. The processor is coupled to the one or more sensors and to the transceiver, and is configured to at least facilitate: determining a desired control of movement of the vehicle based on the vehicle sensor data, the traffic light data, and one or more optimization criteria pertaining to the vehicle; and taking a vehicle action based on the desired control of movement of the vehicle.

Abstract: A system for a shutdown of an electric charger of an electric vehicle in response to a fault detection is presented. The system includes a sensor communicatively connected to a charging component, wherein the sensor is configured to detect at least a measured charger datum and generate a sensor datum as a function of the at least a measured charger datum. The system further includes a computing device, wherein the computing device is configured to identify a fault element as a function of the sensor datum, determine a disruption element as a function of the identification of the fault element. and initiate a shutdown protocol of the charging component as a function of the disruption element.

Abstract: A distributed computer system for a spacecraft is disclosed. The system has multiple computer nodes, each controlling a different aspect of a mission of the spacecraft. Each node includes a control circuit(s) that controls a set of components, a router processor, and a programmable processor. The programmable processor of each respective computer node issue commands to the control circuit(s) of the respective computer node to carry out an aspect of the mission associated with the respective computer node. Upon failure of the programmable processor in a particular computer node, a healthy programmable processor send commands to the router processor in the particular computer node The router processor of the particular computer node routes the commands received from the remote programmable processor to the control circuit(s) in the particular computer node to control the set of components to carry out the aspect of the mission associated with particular computer node.

Abstract: An example of an apparatus may include NAND memory and circuitry coupled to the NAND memory to monitor a sense voltage for an operation associated with a wordline of the NAND memory, and adjust a negative charge pump for the wordline prior to completion of the operation based on the monitored sense voltage. Abstract: A base station distributed unit (BS-DU) sends, to a base station central unit (BS-CU), a radio link control (RLC) bearer configuration associated with a small data transmission (SDT) procedure of a wireless device. The BS-DU receives, from the BS-CU, a context release command message, for the wireless device. The context release command message comprises a radio resource control (RRC) release message and an indication to store the RLC bearer configuration. The BS-DU transmits, to the wireless device, the RRC release message. Based on the indication to store the RLC bearer configuration, the BS-DU keeps the RLC bearer configuration.

Abstract: A method of electroencephalography (EEG) based speech recognition includes obtaining, from a microphone, an audio signal of a speaker from a first time period, obtaining, from one or more EEG sensors, EEG signals of the speaker from the first time period, obtaining, from a first model, acoustic representations based on the EEG signals, concatenating the obtained acoustic representations with an audio input based on the audio signal to obtain concatenated features, providing the concatenated features to an automatic speech recognition model (ASR) and obtaining, from the ASR model, a text-based output.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining a schema of a database and obtaining a field of a data table of the schema, the field including a field name and a field descriptor. The method includes accessing a first set of records structured in accordance with the schema and assigning a category to the field of the schema based on the field name and the field descriptor using a machine learning model. The method includes receiving an identifier via an application program interface and obtaining a set of query generation model parameters associated with the database or the schema. The method includes generating a plurality of queries based on the set of query generation model parameters, the identifier, and the category. The method includes retrieving a second set of records from the database based on the plurality of queries and storing the second set of records in association with the identifier.

The method includes obtaining configuration settings from the first user, the configuration settings including at least one of a filter setting or one or more nominees. The method includes generating a digital legacy social media profile of the first user using the training data and the one or more configuration settings and launching the digital legacy social media profile on a server in response to an initiation. The method includes providing an option to present the digital legacy social media profile to at least a second user such that the digital legacy social media profile is accessible to the second user even when the digital legacy social media profile is inaccessible to the first user.

Abstract: A system and method for displaying augmented reality information for a real object. A transparent display displays the information for the real object within a field of view, such that the information and the real object are simultaneously viewable by a user. Data-gathering peripheral devices gather data of the field of view, including a camera gathering visual data for tracking the real object. An articulating arm moveably supports and facilitates repositioning the display and redirecting the data-gathering peripheral devices in a particular direction. A security interlock disables the data-gathering peripherals when the articulating arm is moved beyond a pre-established threshold, thereby preventing the data-gathering peripherals from gathering data of a real environment outside of a limit of the field of view as determined by the pre-established threshold. The security interlock may include an adjustable contact switch which adjustably defines the pre-established threshold in at least one direction.

Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling a sunshade of a vehicle. The methods and systems receive a route plan from a first location to a second location, predict a sun parameter indicative of sun glare on the window for the route plan based on solar direction and vehicle heading at distributed locations throughout the route plan, and activate the sunshade based on the sun parameter so as to shade the window.
