  • Patent number: 11601363
Abstract: A primary internet connection via a gateway or router located at a premises may be used to route internet traffic from devices located at the premises. A change in the primary internet connection, such as a loss or a degradation of the connection, may occur. Based on the change in the primary internet connection, metrics of alternative internet connections, such as cellular or hotspot connections, may be used to select one of the alternative internet connections. Internet traffic may be routed via the selected alternative internet connection until the primary internet connection is reestablished or improves.

  • Patent number: 11599509
Abstract: An approach to parallel access of data from a distributed filesystem provides parallel access to one or more named units (e.g., files) in the filesystem by creating multiple parallel data streams such that all the data of the desired units is partitioned over the multiple streams. In some examples, the multiple streams form multiple inputs to a parallel implementation of a computation system, such as a graph-based computation system, dataflow-based system, and/or a (e.g., relational) database system.

  • Patent number: 11598154
Abstract: A wellbore tool is conditioned between downhole deployments with a substantially continuous application of a conditioning fluid within the tool. Selectively removable caps connect to ends of the tool after its removal from the wellbore. If the tool is part of a downhole string, the caps are added after the tool is decoupled from the remainder of the string. The conditioning fluid is introduced into the tool through a fitting on one of the end caps; and while a fitting on the other end cap is opened to vent fluids resident within the tool. The caps are in sealing contact with a housing of the tool to retain the conditioning fluid inside the tool. A fluid supply system at the well site provides the conditioning fluid. Example conditioning fluids include a fracturing fluid, a completion fluid, a diluent, a solubilizing agent, an anti-scaling agent, a pH buffer, a liquid freezing point depressant, corrosion and oxidation inhibitors, oxygen scavengers, biocides, surfactants, and combinations thereof.

  • Patent number: 11599921
Abstract: A system of determining an alimentary preparation provider is disclosed. The system comprises a computing device. The computing device is configured to receive input from a user device at a current geographical location. The input comprises an alimentary request and a plurality of request parameters. The computing device generates a plurality of alimentary preparation providers as a function of the plurality of request parameters. A request parameter classifier is generated by the computing device. The computing device classifies, by the request parameter classifier, the plurality of request parameters and the plurality of alimentary preparation providers. The classification outputs an ordered list of request parameters. The computing device assigns the alimentary request to a first alimentary preparation provider as a function of an ordered list of request parameters. A method for determining an alimentary preparation provider is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11598120
Abstract: An electronic lockbox includes a latching apparatus that uses a rotary actuator with multiple positions to achieve multiple locking states. Multiple positions of the actuator are detected, using optical sensors. The locking mechanism includes an outer sleeve and an inner cylindrical barrel that are coupled with torsion springs. The lockbox has a shackle and a key bin that include latch pins which are retained by the inner barrel when in the locked state, and the barrel can be rotated to either release the shackle or to release the key bin that typically holds a building's key. During insertion of a latch pin into the rotatable barrel, the maximum torque imparted on a first spur gear by the torsion spring, at a maximum rotation angle of the rotatable barrel, is sufficient to rotate the barrel back to its neutral position after the latch pin has been fully inserted into the barrel, and is less than or equal to a back drive torque limit of a prime mover of the rotary actuator.

  • Patent number: 11597353
Abstract: An automobile vehicle self-cleaning modular floor system includes a self-cleaning modular assembly positioned in a passenger compartment of an automobile vehicle and including a tread portion, the tread portion having a first face and an oppositely directed second face. The first face of the tread portion when upwardly directed defines a first position of the tread portion, with a waste item collecting onto the first face in the first position during operation of the automobile vehicle. The tread portion is selectively moved from the first position to a second position having the first face downwardly directed and the second face upwardly directed. A waste collection tray is positioned below the tread portion to receive the waste item when the tread portion is in the second position.

  • Patent number: 11599291
Abstract: Restoring data stored by a backup process in an object store of a cloud network by initiating a restore request to a server accessing the object store, by providing a source identifier of one or more data blocks of the requested data and a timestamp for a backup image at a requested point in time (PIT). The server manages a queue of blocks in temporary storage to provide blocks for retrieval by the client, and initially fills the queue with blocks from a full backup and unchanged by any incremental backup to the requested PIT. In response to the request, the server assembles blocks that are changed from the full backup through one or more incremental backups to the requested PIT using a full block synthesis process employing forward and reverse delta objects, and sends to the client the blocks initially filled in the queue with the assembled blocks to return a full PIT backup image for the requested PIT.
