  • Patent number: 11353719
Abstract: Modular eyeglass frame system and methods for their use and manufacture. Exemplary frame systems include an eyeglass frame base having a top edge, a removable element having a top edge that substantially matches the top edge of the frame base, and one or more attachment elements operative to removably attach the removable element to the frame base. The frame base includes a first channel and a second channel suitable for partially enclosing a first lens and a second lens; and the removable element includes a first channel and a second channel, each removable element channel being configured such that when the removable element is attached to the frame base, the first and second channels of the frame base align with the first and second channels of the removable element to fully enclose a periphery of the first lens and the second lens. The one or more attachment elements secure the removable element to the frame base such that the two-piece frame system is substantially as durable as a solid one-piece frame.

  • Patent number: 11354348
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for optimizing record placement in a graph by minimizing fragmentation when writing data. Issues with fragmented data within a graph database are addressed on the record level by placing data that is frequently accessed together contiguously within memory. For example, a dynamic rule set may be developed based on dynamically analyzing access patterns of the graph database, policies, system characteristics and/or other heuristics. Based on statistics regarding normal query patterns, the systems and methods may identify an optimal position for certain types of edges that are often traversed with respect to particular types of nodes.

  • Patent number: 11354109
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed herein for updating a firmware file system (FFS) file by preserving the original FFS file in its current firmware volume and then storing an updated version of the original FFS file in a firmware volume for updated FFS files. The updated FFS file may be stored in the firmware volume for updated FFS files referenced to the same FFS file identifier as the original FFS file. During boot-up of a system incorporating the updated firmware, the firmware volume for updated FFS files may be accessed to determine if an updated version of any FFS files are present. If updated FFS files are present, then those updated FFS files may be executed, rather than the original FFS files.

  • Patent number: 11354956
Abstract: An electronic access control system and method that enables conditional access to electronic locking systems according to user-based and situation-based safety parameters. Aspects of the present disclosure provide for a mobile access interface whereby the network operations center can assess a safety risk for a service site based on a combination of user-generated inputs, sensor inputs and/or external data inputs. The system may comprise a dynamic rules engine configured to dynamically determine safety and compliance associated with an access-restricted area. If the access-restricted area is safe, the system may enable access according to one or more access protocols. If the access-restricted area is unsafe, or the user requesting access is not in compliance with one or more static or dynamic safety parameters, the system may disable standard access protocols and deny access to the requesting party.

  • Patent number: 11354136
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems allow for bootstrapping of a machine-to-machine device. In an embodiment, a bootstrap erase architecture allows the machine-to-machine server to manage bootstrap erase policies, detect access network specific events, initiate a bootstrap erase based on these policies and events, and allow for machine-to-machine server handover. In another embodiment, a device or gateway service capability layer may request its network service capability layer fetch data that the device or gateway, previously stored on a different network service capability layer. In another embodiment, when bootstrap erase is performed because the network service capability layer can no longer provide service to the device or gateway, the network service capability layer may recommend other NSCLs to the device or gateway. In another embodiment, a bootstrap erase procedure may be modified so that temporary identifiers may be assigned for a next bootstrapping event.
